well, woke up this morning and saw that sunhawk had linked an interesting article on fanfiction, which also had a delightful discussion going in its comments.  This discussion in turn linked to some interesting stuff on the da vinci code and in turn to some more interesting stuff on fiction writing in context of said book.  Now it just amused me to read these but I figured afterwards they might be neat for a few others, so linking.
