What do you know. S romance anime that actually felt romantic instead of silly, haremesque, love triangle, or forced.

We begin with our intrepid male lead, Matsumaru, a 26 year old ad exec for a snack company. We open with him outside a movie theatre, having been stood up on a date by a coworker. Just as he's about to toss the tickets, an unusual, but attractive (of course) girl talks him into giving her the tickets. She then promptly invites him along, since she has no one else with her. This isn't some devious plan on her part, she simply wants some company. Matsumaru learns her name is Aka Onda, an aspiring 20 year old voice actress.

They eventually head back to their respective apartments, which turn out not to be too far from one another. As Matsumuaru lays awake in bed that night, he hears fire engines nearby. Going to look, he discovers the fire was at Aka's building, as evidenced by her soot covered pajamas and that she's sitting on a swing, having nowhere to go since every one of her possessions are feedintg the impromptu barbeque. He invites her back, telling her she can stay at his place as long as she needs to. After a while she finally breaks down and weeps, and after a little bit of comforting, the leads have sex (gasp).

Of course it can't be that easy. The next morning, Masumaru learns she's gone, with a note thanking him for his generosity. He returns to work depressed until he learns one of his ideas has been green lighted and he'll be a part of the marketing project. In fact, they've even decided to have an animated ad with a voice over and need to screen the actresses, one of whom turns out to be Aka. All is not joy as she doesn't acknowledges our hero's presence, and he doesn't press the issue.

As he returns to his apartment, he's surprised by Aka dropping by. She informs him she blew him off only because she was afraid people might get the idea that's she sleeping her way into the job. The good news is, she's taking him up on his offer of moving in. The bad news: she informs him the sex was a heat of the moment thing and she's not interested in him that way. And not to tell anyone she's living with him so they won't get in trouble.

And we go from there. I found this interesting and enjoyable. Nothing's too fantastic about this, and both characters are realistic enough and enjoyable, and the relationship moves at a nice clip with some bumps.

I recommend this one highly. It'll take less than two hours to watch (opening and ending songs take up a lot of space.

7 out of 10. No Onigai Teacher, but a fun piece to watch.

Just cleaned up some minor typos, hope ye don't mind.

Anyhow, sounds neat for a romantic-serious piece if I get the tone right.
