Takahashi Theater

A series of 13 one shots taken from Japan's number one female author. Basically it's a series of character pieces taken from a humorous standpoint. Not really slapstick in the vein of Urusei Yatsura or Ranma, but more sublime.  Most of the people are ordinary that have something mildly extraordinary happen to them to highlight the character study. From dominating women running apartments, to ghosts of nagging wives that won't go away, a whole gamut of bizarre situations occur.

It didn't make me laugh out loud, but it was an enjoyable series. Music was okay, and the character designs are pure Takahashi, making them look a bit dated, but since the stroies are subdued, it really doesn't matter.

Overall enjoyable, and worth watching once, though I'm not sure what the rewatchability factor is. I give it a 5 out of 10. Definitely something worth watching if you want to kill some time.
