[18:04] <@Kotono> Finding Sylvie takes a good heap of time. Eventually, standing before the portals and a bit tired of searching, Muirfinn calls on Elena. She appears, clad as normal for once. "Hi!" she says, "You rang?"
[18:07] <Muirfinn> "Ah, hello Elena. I'm looking for Sylvie, but I am having a bit of difficulty finding her. Could you perhaps give me a hand?" Muirfinn asks.
[18:10] <@Kotono> "She's in her room," Elena replies, "At least right now. You might want to hurry up and catch her before she goes somewhere else again."
[18:11] <Muirfinn> "Thank you!" Muirfinn hustles through a portal.
[18:13] <@Kotono> Soon enough, you are before the door to Sylvie's room. It's quiet in the hall, nothing unusual occuring.
[18:13] * Muirfinn knocks politely.
[18:14] <@Kotono> "Come on in, Ithea," Sylvie's voice calls out.
[18:17] * Muirfinn walks in, snorting. "I'm not quite fuzzy enough for that, Sylvie."
[18:21] <@Kotono> Sylvie turns - wearing nothing but her panties. She blink-blinks a moment, before her arms go to her chest and she screams, "OUT!" In a moment Sylvie rushes forward, shoving Muirfinn out as the door closes behind him. You hear rustling inside, "Hell's fires, Muirfinn! Announce who you are before you walk in! Ithea's a girlfriend, it doesn't matter if she sees me topless." More rustling, "Alright,
[18:21] <@Kotono> come back in, I'm dressed."\
[18:22] <@Kotono> *a female friend, not a girlfriend.Gives the wrong impression there, really.
[18:24] * Muirfinn shakes his head as he goes back in. "You mammals and your clothing. I still don't understand it. Are yo free for a bit? I was hoping to speak with you."
[18:27] <@Kotono> "I don't see you walking around with your genitals hanging out," Sylvie retorts, going to sit on her bed. "Yeah, I am. What is it?"
[18:36] <Muirfinn> "Of course not, they stay all tucked...you know, let's not go there. I was hoping to discuss 21 with you, if you do not mind. I'd heard in the rumor mill that you were thinking of passing it on, and I hoped to at least experience it before that. I was also hoping that I could assist you in finding a proper successor for it." Muirfinn says. "If, that is, you're looking for assistance."
[18:38] <@Kotono> Sylvie smiles for just a moment at that, befor she shakes her head. "You know, I wanted to. I realy wanted to. Carrying 21 is a miserable thing, no matter how wonderful and powerful it can be. Do you know how much trouble you can get into simply because you have to speak the truth? Do you have any idea how stressful it is looking on someone and seeing every sin they've committed?" Exhaling her
[18:38] <@Kotono> breath, "Were you there for that row when Jaela wanted it? I forget if you were involved or not."
[18:45] <Muirfinn> The corners of Muirfinn's lips curl up. "I do indeed. My people rarely lie. The truth is a concise and beautiful thing, but when a proud father gloats about his daughter's coloring, there is invariably some other man who will cheerfully tell him that not only is he wrong, but that his daughter is ugly as an angler fish with a skin problem. It's the primary reason for tribal divisions and war
[18:45] <Muirfinn> among my people, and has made adjustment to our current situation...difficult. We shall overcome." Muirfinn says resolutely. "As for your argument with Jaela, I'm afraid not. Perhaps it happened while I was busy, or before I arrived?"
[18:48] <@Kotono> Taking a long breath, "Right. I'd wanted to get rid of 21 and Jaela wanted it. She wanted to use it to try and redeem Annalise and evil. We had a big fight over it," Going on, "I realized that if I used 21 to destroy evil, to hurt them like they hurt me? It gives me something. Honestly?" With a sigh, "It seems that I've screwed up my old life completely. This at least gives me something to do
[18:48] <@Kotono> with myself."
[18:51] * Muirfinn shakes his head. "I don't claim to understand her relationship with...Annalise. I can't help but wonder what she saw in her though." Muirfinn pauses, thinking it over. "It rather sounds as though you've changed your mind. You wish to continue to bear 21 then?"
[18:56] <@Kotono> "It was funny. I'm certain Jaela loved her, yet Annalise constantly lied to her and to other people." Shrugging her shoulders, "I won't pretend to understand. Anyway...yeah, I guess I have. It's almost all that I have left in my life. The love of my life's dead and chose not to come back for me, my child calls other women mother, the only friend I've seen from home in years slapped me as a hello
[18:56] <@Kotono> and most everyone here thinks I rank somewhere between slime and pond scum."
[19:09] * Muirfinn chooses that, while pond scum can be delicious if prepared properly, perhaps now is not the best time to say so. Instead he says, "Perhaps it is simply that they do not understand you, or perhaps you do not understand yourself. Death is a natural part of life. With it, the natural cycle continues. I understand too well the pain of losing someone that you love, but knowing that their soul
[19:09] * Muirfinn is safe and that they have aided the cycle comforts me. My wife awaits me when I die a final death. I also understand the powerful lure of the afterlife. When a person dies, and they have pleased their god, they are granted a kind of paradise that is extremely difficult to part from. Only those driven to live on by extraordinary circumstances or by the will of the gods themselves tend to return.
[19:09] * Muirfinn I have rarely seen one come back simply because they wished to try again. As for your mate, perhaps instead of coming back, they wish for you to join them in paradise one day. Have you sought answers from their diety?" Muirfinn asks. "Also, in regards to your child, it is not uncommon among my people for children to be raised communally. Occasionally, when an infant tortle returns to the shores,
[19:09] * Muirfinn he or she is not immediately recognizeable due to tribal coloration or lack thereof. Commonly, they are examined in their adolescence and, with magic, sorted to their proper parentage. Other times, it does not matter. It is up to the individual child, and only if they do not find themselves identifying with the tribe that took them in. Other times, a mother has no desire to raise her children,
[19:09] * Muirfinn and the rest of the tribe picks up the slack. Again, not uncommon. As for your friend...well, there is always a way to mend a broken boat."
[19:14] <@Kotono> That draws out a laugh. A long, bitter laugh comes form Sylvie, "Chautea, or Jannath as they liked to call her? Oh, I consulted with her. Went right up and all the way to her realm." Sylvie's fists ball up, "I got the same self serving load of shit from them." Sylvie exhales, "No, there's no final reward with Janson waiting for me in the House of Nature. In fact, one of the main reasons I sought
[19:14] <@Kotono> 21 was so that I could take revenge on Chauntea."
[19:28] <Muirfinn> "Ah," Muirfinn says, closing his eyes. "that makes sense now. It explains your reaction in Brightwater. Well...hmm. Where there is a will, there is a way. We know that Chauntea is not evil, and thus you will never be able to affect her with 21. Let's take a different tack. She has something you want. You want to be with this Janson, correct? Gods rarely change, so we can expect her to react the
[19:28] <Muirfinn> same way, nearly every time you interact with her. I see two viable choices here. Destroying her is right out. While another god would likely fill the void, all of the souls in her realm have will likely have some manner of link to her, which could jeopardize your man and very likely destabilize nature as a whole across multiple planes. Also, she very likely has allies, whihc will either come
[19:28] <Muirfinn> to her aid or seek to avenge her. In the end, you gain nothing but revenge and a very likely destruction at the hands of angry gods. No, I see two ways; the easy way and the hard way. The easy way will likely be by no means easy. It would require you to swallow your pride and submit to an Atonement spell, and then follow Chauntea's directives to the letter. The hard way would be extremely
[19:29] <Muirfinn> difficult, but it is possible you wouldn't have to lose your pride. If you can manipulate Chauntea into a position where she owes you a great favor, she could clear that with you by either granting you access to Janson or personally restoring him to life. Again, these are by no means easy, but there you have it. If you would like, I could assist you in making these happen. The Atonement spell
[19:29] <Muirfinn> is not beyond the grasp of those on the Aurora, and if you choose the latter option, there will likely be opportunities to garner favors along the way."
[19:33] <@Kotono> Quietly, Sylvie murmurs, "I knew it was a suicide mission in some ways. I never really thought too much past that part," she admits, "I..." Here she sighs, "He's not coming back. Muirfinn, I appreciate what you're trying to do, but I can guarantee you he's not coming back now. He chose the afterlife over me, and they won't disrespect the choice he made."
[19:49] <Muirfinn> "Then choose the option of access after death. We will all die eventually, none of us are truly immortal here. The ability to be with those we love after death is one of the few hopes we have left after they die. I encourage you not to give up. It is only when we give up do we truly fail in our tasks, and of all the people on the Aurora, you are among the least likely to strike me as a failure.
[19:49] <Muirfinn> Look at how far you have come." Muirfinn says. "Who is to say what will happen tomorrow, or next week? Or next year? We fight to save an entire world from perversion, oppression, and destruction. If you were to die tomorrow, could you say that you gave your all, and that you could be happy with yourself? Or do you think you could have done something more in the time you had? I think you have
[19:49] <Muirfinn> great potential in you, Sylvie. You are bright well beyond your years, and wise as well. The gods would be fools not to take note of you, and I doubt that this is the case. You wield a power that was created by beings far beyond the gods in power, and the gods no doubt have their keen eyes trained upon you, and us in turn. Great power, and great responsibility. You have unique opportunities
[19:49] <Muirfinn> ahead of you, ones that few, if any mortals have ever had."
[19:50] <Muirfinn> "You are no fool, Sylvie. I encourage you to recognize that fact about yourself."
[19:56] <@Kotono> Sylvie doesn't reply. Instead she looks up at the ceiling, eyes distant. At last, as the silence threatens to sink in like a permanent miasma, "I don't want to go to Chauntea's realm." she admits this, "At best, I'll go to Oghma's libraries. At worst..." Sylvie smiles wanly, "I've seen the Hells, at least it won't be a surprise. I don't want Chauntea's forgiveness. What I-" This is stopped, as
[19:56] <@Kotono> there is a knocking on Sylvie's door. She frowns and looks back towards it, "Sorry, hold on a moment?" she murmurs, "It's probably Ithea, she was supposed to come by."
[19:58] * Muirfinn nods, waiting patiently.
[19:59] <@Kotono> "Ithea?" Sylvie calls. After a moment, the reply is, "I'm not Ithea," Balyss is heard, Sylvie's eyes closing and a tiny, tired sigh escaping her lips. She takes a long breath before she replies, "Come in."
[20:00] <@Kotono> Balyss comes in, after taking a moment to look about. She looks to Ithea and then blink-blinks, "...okay, seriously? What the hell happened to your tastes?" Balyss asks, staring at Muirfinn.
[20:01] <@Kotono> Sylvie stops a moment cold, before burying her head into her hands, "He's a friend and we're talking. What, am I a teenager sneaking a boyfriend into her room now?"
[20:01] * Muirfinn raises one scaly eyebrow at Balyss. "I beg your pardon?"
[20:02] <@Kotono> "Oh." A short little 'oh' before Balyss looks back to Muirfinn. "Nevermind. I jumped to conclusions." There's an awkward pause after this, neither woman speaking. At last Balyss breaks it, "Look, Sylvie. I realized I didn't want to screw around and let this simmer any more."
[20:02] <@Kotono> "Yeah." Sylvie says, slowly and carefully. "I was going to give yo uanother day or so, but I guess you're here now."
[20:03] <@Kotono> "Yeah, I am." Balyss fidgets, then blurts out, "Are we going to do this with him around?" she asks, looking to Muirfinn. "I mean..."
[20:04] <@Kotono> Sylvie sighsb efore looking up, "Now you're worried about privacy? Got tired of the public spectacle phase of this?"
[20:04] <Muirfinn> "I can leave." Muirfinn points out.
[20:05] <@Kotono> "Um..." Balyss shuffles her feet, before glaring at Muirfinn, "Shush, women are talking about girl things. Okay fine," Throwing her hands up, "Maybe I shouldn't have done that in public.
[20:06] <@Kotono> For some reason that draws a bit of a smile out of Sylvie, "Now you sound like someone from Aralla," she counters.
[20:06] * Muirfinn makes an amused hissing noise but says nothing.
[20:07] <@Kotono> "Guilty. Ves, Yuria and I spent a week there on a job a little while back." After another short pause, Sylvie nods. "Please, Muirfinn. Just wait outside, we can pick up after Balyss and I talk."
[20:07] * Muirfinn nods, heading out! Hopefully they won't destroy the place.
[20:07] <@Kotono> OOC: Going to do anything but wait outside or anything?
[20:09] <Muirfinn> OOC: I'll just chill outside and wait for them to either come out or get violent.
[20:09] <@Kotono> OOC: Going to eavesdrop or anything, or just kill the time?
[20:10] <Muirfinn> OOC: I'm not a creep. I'll kill time. Fer enough away to make the voices indistinguishable, but not too far away to hear yelling or things being thrown.
[20:13] <@Kotono> After about a half hour, you hear a scream from within. It sounds like Sylvie's voice!
[20:14] <Muirfinn> OOC: What kinda scream? Are we talking long and drawn out, or a rage-y scream, or is is something akin to pain?
[20:15] <@Kotono> OOC: A girly scream. Didn't sound pained, at elast.
[20:16] <Muirfinn> Muirfinn straightens and looks toward the door. That didn't sound to urgent, but he is on alert.
[20:16] <@Kotono> No more screams immediately come.
[20:18] * Muirfinn continues to wait then.
[20:19] <@Kotono> Another ten minutes pass before the door opens. Sylvie sticks her head out, smiling from ear to ear, "Muirfinn, come over here a minute!" she calls.
[20:20] * Muirfinn trundles on over. "Yes? Everything is going well then?"
[20:23] <@Kotono> "Yeah," Sylvie's voice is far lighter now as he's taken into her room. Balyss sits on the bed, a little silver flask in hand, that she sips from. She passes it to Sylvie, who takes a nip as Balyss comes over. "Now stand there, while looking huffy and fat, like Josa." Balyss says with good cheer, hands on Muirfinn's shoulders.
[20:26] * Muirfinn blinks for a moment. "I can probably do better than that. What's he look like?"
[20:27] <@Kotono> Balyss fishes into a pocket in her armor, "
[20:28] <@Kotono> Balyss fishes into a pocket in her armor, "C'mon, I still have it on me, don't I...oh! Here!" Fishing through several small squares of paper, she presents one to Muirfinn. On it is a picture of Josa, clad in an outfit that is nothing more than an oversized red apple. "Like this," she says.
[20:34] * Muirfinn studies the photo left and right for a good minute before handing it back to Balyss. "Thanks." He grabs at his face and...pulls it away from his skin, stretching the scaly flesh and pulling it about as its color changes to the same pinkish color of the man in the picture. His shell and scales fade away into folds of fat and bright clothing. Finally, he shakes his head rapidly back and
[20:34] * Muirfinn forth like a dog and the face settles onto altered bone. "Like this?"
[20:35] <Muirfinn> OOC: A Thousand Faces, with liberties
[20:41] <@Kotono> "Close enough!" Balyss giggles, now turning to Josa, "So then I said to him, 'Josa, I don't think any woman who doesn't appreciate a red apple suit is worth chasing.'" At that, both girls crack up, dissolving into laughter! Amid hers Sylvie manages to choke out, "D-d-did he buy that?"
[20:41] <@Kotono> "Of course he did!" Balyss manages to get out at last, "Hook, line and sinker! So then Marianne and I went and got the guard involved, and that was that."
[20:43] * Muirfinn looks a bit confused.
[20:50] <@Kotono> Sylvie grins, "So did Yuria end up saying what she wanted to?" To that Balyss shakes her head, "No ,and I asked her why later. 'Like, I totally wanted to, but I didn't want to catch the demi-lesbians from, like, Aaeru and stuff.'" Both dissolve into giggles again, Sylvie looking over to Balyss, "You've been busy over there."
[20:51] <@Kotono> "That's only half of it," Balyss replies with happy cheer, though she pauses. "Though in related news, Yuria isn't quite as dumb as she looks. I'm fairly sure that she's at least putting it on occasionally."
[20:51] <@Kotono> "Really?" Sylvie blinks and shakes her head, "So only 80% airhead?"
[20:52] <@Kotono> "About," Balyss waves a hand side to side, "Every once in awhile she makes a point or she lets something slip that I know she knows better about."
[20:53] <@Kotono> "Whatever," Sylvie shrugs it off with a faint ease, "You haven't mentioned the new girl who took my place much."
[20:54] <@Kotono> "Veserya? She didn't really take your place." Balyss replies, "She gets along with myself and Marianne really well. Aaeru too ,surprisingly. Not so well with Whurric or Arachiel - the former's just not her style and the latter's still really innocent."
[20:55] <@Kotono> "So what is her style?" Sylvie goes on, taking another sip from the flask before pausing, "What a sip," she offers, "Balyss brought some applejack, Muirfinn."
[20:55] <@Kotono> *want a sip
[20:56] <@Kotono> "She's noble and acts like a refined lady. Marianne and her get along just like that," Snapping her fingers, "For some reason her and Aaeru hit it off too. I wasn't expecting that one. Ves and I get along really well too. She follows a Goddess of her own, Empress Sulia. We sort of get each other about those sort of things."
[20:58] <@Kotono> "Mmmm," Waiting a moment on Muirfinn to answer, "Speaking of, how's Whurric doing?"
[20:58] * Muirfinn waves it off. "Alcohol rarely agrees with me, I'm afraid."
[20:58] <@Kotono> "Pretty well. A bunch of them were on a holy quest with Arachiel for awhile, but they came back to town eventually." Balyss explains. She pauses a moment, "You're the only one who hasn't come home, Sylvie."
[20:59] <@Kotono> "Yeah." Sylvie pauses here a moment, shrugging and taking a long shot from the bottle. "Hells. Anyone find anyone while I was gone? Aaeru and Neveril still together?"
[21:04] <@Kotono> "Playing the field," Balyss says after a second, "Aaeru and Neveril are really happy together. Yuria and Whurric didn't really last - where you there for that? I forget. Yuria's just...well, Yuria. Did you ever meet that one Sharessian, Halene? I don't think she was really around during your time, but she makes a pest of herself every so often." With a half frown, "She found some way to sneak
[21:04] <@Kotono> in the upstairs window as a cat, and during the cold months will usually be asleep by the fire when we all get to work." After a blank look from Sylvie, "Right, I didn't think so. I sort of knew her from religious duties - you usually get to know the competition, though we don't really directly compete against the type of people Sharess lures in. Halene's basically an overgrown cat and can change
[21:04] <@Kotono> into one. She shows up when she's bored and wants attention, or somewhere warm to sleep, or when she's hungry. Silver absolutely loathes her, after she snuck up and pounced on her in cat form. It was a literal cat fight as those two went at it."
[21:05] <@Kotono> "Sounds like she needs a good home," Sylvie quips, as Balyss grins. "Something like that. Anyway, she met Veserya at some point and eventually started hanging around us. She's annoying but harmless, and occasionally useful."
[21:05] * Muirfinn relaxes as the two converse and lets the chatter wash over him, happy that they're talking without fighting.
[21:07] <@Kotono> "Right," Sylvie goes on, "So it's still mostly all girls?"
[21:09] <@Kotono> "Mostly. Whurric counts, though Orval's usually not around to count. It's usually just him and Josa, or just Whurric if you listen to Silver," Going on from that, and after amoment, "There haven't been any more Sharran problems," she says, quietly. "A good time after we left, we had a meeting with the Crimson Guard." Pausing to take her flask back and take a nip, "Apparently Senaril's second
[21:09] <@Kotono> demise lead to some interfaith bickering for them. We didn't get the details, but they're in disarray and not bothering anyone in the known world right now."
[21:11] <@Kotono> "...good." Sylvie replies, taking the flask right back and taking another hit. "I can't believe you're still single," Sylvie goes on, "I mean, with the revels you have to meet lots of men. Haven't met Mr. Right?"
[21:11] <@Kotono> "Uh huh, haven't met something that got my heart," Balyss says lightly, though Sylvie frowns...before a little smile comes onto her face. After a beat, "So what's his name?" she asks innocently.
[21:11] <@Kotono> *someone
[21:12] <@Kotono> "Huh?" Balyss blinks at that, entirely befuddled a moment.
[21:12] * Muirfinn snorts as he figures it out.
[21:13] <@Kotono> "Oh yeah, you're still new here. Details aside, you can't lie to me. Don't even try." Sylvie smirks.
[21:14] <@Kotono> Balyss scowls, "Okay yes, I have someone I'm close to. It's...personal." Drawing that out a few moments, "This entire crusade dragged me away from the person I'm fond of, and I don't really want to advertise it. I'll end up with a reputation of that lonely priestess who gave up love or something saccarine like that."
[21:15] <@Kotono> "Ooooh..." Sylvie drawls out, looking ot Muirfinn, "Well, you won't tell anyone, will you?"
[21:16] <Muirfinn> "Who would I tell, and why would they care?" Muirfinn asks honestly.

Ebiris

[17:58] <@Kotono> "Good," Balyss says, "It's, well...I just want to keep it private." Blushing a little bit, "I'd have brought them with me, but the auguries were specific that I had to come myself."
[17:58] * Muirfinn kindly refrains from pointing out that Sylvie is far less likely to keep a secret than he is.
[18:00] <@Kotono> "Sorry," Sylvie murmurs, growing quiet at that. "Anyway," Going on from that, "I should introduce you to Ithea. She's my best friend here. Only one, sometimes."
[18:01] <@Kotono> Balyss grows quieter at that, "Oh, don't start that," Balyss grumps, "If you're getting mauldin, that means you need to drink more and get happy again!"
[18:04] <@Kotono> With that Sylvie takes the flask and drinks again, "Yeah, yeah," she cracks a smile again, "Say Muirfinn. You made any friends 'round here by now?"
[18:06] <Muirfinn> "Well, Canderella is a good character. Pleasant to talk to and someone I can relate to on matters of natural balance. Tannin is interesting as well, though I haven't been able to sit down with them man and properly speak to him. The three I know best are you, Tepen, and Vul'lath." Muirfinn says.
[18:07] <@Kotono> Sylvie and Balyss exchange a look, Balyss groaning and throwing her hands up. "Alright, alright!"
[18:09] <Muirfinn> "If you're looking to make friends, Balyss, perhaps you should disabuse people of the notion that you may strike them in greeting." Muirfinn offers with a twinkle in his eye.
[18:12] <@Kotono> Balyss reddens at that, "Well...yeah." Admitting that much, "It made sense at the time."
[18:12] <@Kotono> Sylvie shifts and looks away, "Anyway," Quickly going on, "So you should really tell us about this guy you've lured in, Balyss!"

Corwin

[20:24] <Kotono> ---
[20:26] <Kotono> Ah, mornings. For most people, they start normally enough. For Ithea? A dream about something pleasant and fading is replaced by 27. 27's face is mere inches from Ithea's, eyes staring into hers.
[20:44] <Ithea> "...good morning," Ithea says, before pushing the beaver-like creature away with a frown. "Can I ask why you felt the need to do that, 27?"
[20:49] <Kotono> 27 flutters into the air, "Lonely," 27 says, "Lonely, Anarch."
[20:50] <Ithea> "Okay, what does that have to do with looming over me?" Ithea asks back with a frown, not that sympathetic. "Couldn't you just have shaken me and woken me up, or waited on the side of my bed? I don't -want- you looming over me, 27!"
[20:52] <Kotono> "Being close to you," 27 replies, landing and sitting on the bed besides her. "The eyes let me see the soul, Anarch."
[20:56] <Ithea> "...Okay, thanks, but please don't do that again. If you want to be near me, that's fine, but it's a little disturbing seeing straight into someone's face, alright?" Ithea says.
[20:57] <Kotono> 27 merely nods to that. "I wITHEA!" A voice from outside is heard, followed by erratic knocking on her door.
[20:59] * Ithea frowns. "What now?" she mutters as she gets out of the bed, moving to the door. "What's going on?!"
[21:04] <Kotono> Sylvie is at the door. Her eyes are bloodshot, but she has the biggest grin you've ever seen on her face. The scent of booze lingers around her. In her hands are a vase of pale white flowers, with a folded bit of paper amid them, "Someone left these for you," she says, in perfect solemnity. "I wanted to thank you before going to bed, Ithea. Balyss and I made up, in part thanks to you."
[21:07] <Ithea> "...you're welcome? Sylvie, you look like crap! And what have you been drinking?" she says as she scrunches up her nose at the smell of booze, though she takes the flowers, looking at the note briefly, but then focusing her attention back on Sylvie.
[21:10] <Kotono> The note says simply, "To a happy morning. - Stille." Sylvie starts ticking off her fingers, "Applejack, then some ale, then there was the...the really strong stuff. I forget what it was." Sylvie shrugs, "Balyss liked it."
[21:12] <Ithea> "Well, at least it wasn't that invention of yours and Kascha's," Ithea notes. "So you two are good then?"
[21:15] <Kotono> "Uh huh," Sylvie stumbles in, finding a chair and collapsing into it. "We talked and we talked and we talked. At first it was nasty, but we got past that and had a good cry with each other," Sylvie admits, "Then we started talking, and remembering, and it wasn't so awkward anymore."
[21:18] <Ithea> "Oh, that's good, then," Ithea says with a nod, while she goes put the vase next to her dresser, grabbing the flowers currently in just a glass filled with water, and putting them in the vase alongside the new ones.
[21:19] * Ithea pauses and asks, "What do you mean 'before going to bed', Sylvie? Don't tell me you've been up all night! It's morning now!"
[21:25] <Kotono> "Yeeep! Blame Balyss," Smiling now with a sigh, "W ejust kept finding things to drink and talk about! Besides, she used some magic so I'm not that tired or going to be hung over."
[21:31] <Ithea> "Right, that's why your eyes are all bloodshot," Ithea says drily, shaking her head as she sits on the edge of her bed. "So... what happens now? Going to send word back to say hi and stuff to friends and family? Actually go visit or even invite them over?"
[21:35] <Kotono> "We agreed to let it lie for the moment. See, Balyss was instructed to come here alone. Couldn't even bring her signifigant other," Frowning a bit at that, "Plus, I know something's big is coming with Yian's capture. This isn't the time. We'll figure that out when it's done...but yeah, I probably will do something.""
[21:36] * Ithea blinks. "Balyss has a boyfriend? ...huh, that's kinda surprising somehow," Ithea notes, scratching the back of her head.
[21:37] <Kotono> "Really?" Sylvie giggles at that.
[21:38] <Ithea> "Yeah, not sure why," Ithea says with a shrug. "Is it a boyfriend actually, or like, husband, when you say significant other?"
[21:41] <Kotono> "They aren't married or anything," Sylvie says, after a moment's pause. She frowns at it, "Could you let it lie? She doesn't really want it to be public knowledge. I'm just barely sidestepping 21 here, too."
[21:43] <Ithea> "Oh, sure, that's not a problem, I was just curious, honestly," Ithea says with a shrug. "Wonder why she wasn't allowed to bring him though, I doubt anyone here would care. I mean, not unless her boyfriend was a freaking devil or something."
[21:46] <Kotono> "I don't know. Ask Selune. She got her instructions from a vision," Sylvie shrugs, murmuring a few words. Her red eyes vanish away, blinked clear. "So how about you and Stille?"
[21:47] <Ithea> "...What is it with you and not letting me talk about others' love lives, but you always want to know what's going on with mine?" Ithea says as she crosses her arms and pouts. "That's not exactly fair, you know!"
[21:49] <Kotono> "But it's fun!" Sylvie grins ear to ear, "Besides, he left you flowers! " Waggling a finger, "So he's sweet on you. Are you sweet on him?"
[21:54] <Ithea> "Kind of? He's fun to be with and he's definitely a charmer, but I suspect it's just casual, so I don't plan on getting too attached. I call him a heartbreaker for a reason, and he's never denied it, you know," Ithea says with a small smile. "I guess I wouldn't mind if he proves me wrong though."
[21:58] <Kotono> "Aaaw." Sylvie smiles warmly, "If he does, don't let go." Stretching back, "Are you going to be participating on the attack on the Burning Aeropolis?"
[21:59] <Ithea> "Uh, yeah?" Ithea says with a 'no duh!' glance at Sylvie, raised eyebrow and all. "Why wouldn't I?"
[22:00] <Kotono> "Just wondering. Someone has to mind the shop," Sylvie retorts, and in a softer voice, "I guess yo're going home, too."
[22:03] * Ithea shakes her head, disagreeing. "No, it's not home. Not yet, at least. It will be one day again though."
[22:06] <Kotono> "It will be," Sylvie rises, "We'll start with that. Maybe we can send the Burning Aeropolis into a complete flaming wreckage."
[22:08] <Ithea> "Now wouldn't that be nice?" Ithea says with a smile.
<Steph> I might have made a terrible mistake
