Haha, that was cute. I really enjoyed the idea behind the story, and telling it from Hermoine's perspective was a good way to conceal the surprise.

 All I'd have to say is having Harry solve two problems with one spell "Accio" could be done more creatively. Otherwise, I would have loved to see the fore-shortened Snape+future!Harry confrontation would be fun, but there's only so much time.

Lots of fun and worth a quick five-minute read!

Thanks for catching that typo, alethiophile.

I thought that Harry solving all of his problems (onscreen) with a single spell was amusing, actually, so revised the story a tiny bit to emphasize it a bit more and point that out.

Near the end there is the rather confusing

"Unless you meat 'volde-bits,'" Harry added.

Which I assume is intended to be "meant", although I'm having a little difficulty comprehending the statement even with that substitution.
