More stuff from my childhood: Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? by Rockapella

Man, I remember watching that after school. Good times.

As long as it wasn't the Africa map in the bonus round.

The Successor, Final Fantasy 8 Piano Collection

This was the most significant among the few songs in the Piano Collection series I could play during the years I practiced piano. Others included Aeris's Theme and To Zanarkand... the slower, technically simpler pieces, basically. But even that was a long time ago.

The RWBY Volume 2 soundtrack was released.
I'm going to need your signature for the metric ton of whoop-ass you're about to receive.

"A 'Cult'? Such disrespect for other people's beliefs."
"You enslave minds!"
"And I believe that's okay."

Don't just tell us that the soundtrack was released, foolish panda! Link us a song you like in it!

Anyhow, on the extreme other side of the energy spectrum from moody FF piano collection songs, here's a piano-violin rendition of Koi wa Chaos no Shimobe nari, performed by TAM. That's the opening theme song for Haiyori! Nyaruko-san W, which has... really upbeat lyrics, shall we say. (Here's the original.)

Edit: And then there's this version played using Windows errors, from Nico Nico Douga.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Here's O Come, Emmanuel on cello and piano that I posted last year. Haven't found anything better yet, unfortunately.

Small Shrine music from SNES Dragon Quest 3.

It's really pretty, solemn and enjoyable. It's one of those tracks that just works for me, you know?

Happy 2015!

Well, I successfully posted a regular two music pieces per month since starting this thread last year, included decent videos where I could, avoided too much repetition, and all without dipping into OCRemix or my giant collection of instrumental Touhou. I think I did a decent job of it.

Here's Smooth McGroove singing some Final Fantasy fight themes in acapella:

Final Fantasy VI - Decisive Battle
Final Fantasy VII - JENOVA
Final Fantasy VIII - The Man with the Machine Gun
Final Fantasy X - Battle Theme

Prancing Dad, a Dancing Mad remix with some of One Winged Angel mixed in.

It's a pretty awesome mix. Dancing Mad is FF6's final boss theme while One Winged Angel is FF7's.

Found a pretty good Nightstep song.

There's a link to the picture in the description for you touhou fans.

You know what a painfully hard NES game needed?

That's right, a remixed soundtrack. The Mission: Impossible OST has been redone, check the poster's channel for all of it. Go figure.
