Surraruthru nods to himself and decides to open the door, seeing as how he hasn't done anything particularly brave and impressive so far, so he needs to do something to show that he's worthy of the group and protecting Kascha.

So deciding, he flies to the door and tries to open it!

Meanwhile Surraruthru sees that Afina has already opened the door. The golden dais rippling with goldenfire is closed and sealed, if he wishes to open that instead.

Surraruthru zips past Afina to the goldenfire covered dias and tries to open it!

The dais opens up at Surraruthru's touch. A chorus of heavenly voices sings all around the party, a song of rising anticipation. Within lies embers of pure golden fire, cracking and burning despite no fuel to feed them. Intense heat radiates from them, as knowledge fills the party. Wisdom from nowhere, perhaps imparted by the song. You must master and control the embers, lest you all be overwhelmed and reduced to naught but goldenfire.

Well, Surraruthru thinks, fire is totally a dragon thing. Maybe not his dragon thing, but a dragon thing, certainly. He should totally be able to do this. But maybe he can load the odds in his favor...

He brings Wand up and whispers to it, "Hey, any ideas on controlling these embers? Between you, a dragon, and my currently being half fire elemental, what do you think my odds are?"

Control and mastery? That sounds like more than can be accomplished just with a spell... and what was it Kascha and Jaela were talking about with Light earlier on when they met the angels outside? Attempting to accelerate herself to buy a little more time for preparation...

And amazingly succeeds at that as well! Having overestimated the time required she casts greater mage armour while waiting for things to resume their normal pace...

Which doesn't work but it was just a bonus anyway. Now that things are back to normal she can honestly say she forsaw just this situation, and puts that precognitive knowledge to the task of aiding her in controlling the embers through sheer force of will!

The angelic chorus interrupts her thoughts, and as she regains her situational awareness she sees Surraruthru and Afina by the dais of Goldenfire. Without so much as an apology to Kascha, Jaela swiftly makes her way over, idly noticing Afina working her magic but not stopping to wait on the results. Her idea shouldn't interfere, for it relies on creating a vessel that can contain the embers and safely pick them up, a gauntlet of light that would stop her from getting burned by the embers.

Trying to form Body of Light into the shape of a gauntlet that could pick an ember of Goldenfire in a similar way I did with Righteous Halo while practicing outside the sun.

Eb, Moment of Prescience doesn't work since it's not an opposed Charisma check. From the text of the spell:

This spell grants you an insight bonus equal to your caster level (maximum +25) on any single attack roll, opposed ability or skill check, or saving throw.

You're welcome to change that spell into another one, since it's been awhile since we've used that spell. Easy to forget, so I'll give you a break on it.
