Jaela: getting stuff done (Jaela)

[Corwin]

"Let's do this!" Jaela agrees, gesturing with Gae Bolg at both ships. "These two are ours!"

[Anastasia]

Getting into his hand?

[Corwin]

I misunderstood and thought he was going to push the ship. Yeah, we'll get over and I'll drag our captive efreet with me.

[Anastasia]

"Hell yes," Dana says, hopping on. Mei follows and the Master simply stands next to all of you.

The fist gently closes, plenty of space left so you aren't crushed. Then Mountainous Fire begins to turn and walk ahead, and you hear the sound of explosions.

[Corwin]

"This is where you tell me about the usual elite unit," Jaela tells her captive. "Be quick about it, we'll be there to kill them soon."

[Anastasia]

"F-four efreet mages," The efreet begins, as more explosions are heard. "A s-ship full of firepower, 1 to 3 dragons, elemental support, flying carpet support optional."

[Corwin]

"You better tell us about the actually strong defenders," Jaela says dubiously. "What was his name, Avenger?"

[Anastasia]

"Y-yes. Nothing hurts him!" The efreet says, as you hear a tremendous squeal of tearing steel. It makes your head hurt.

Dana grins, "Fuck, we're missing everything out there!"

"He can't be hurt. He's immune to fire, c-cold, lightning, acid and sound. He never gets tired or hungry." The efreet babbles.

[Corwin]

"Can he be stabbed?" Jaela asks curiously. "Devil, right?"

[Anastasia]

'Half iron," The efreet whimpers, "Like stabbing an anvil of adamantine."

[Corwin]

"Magic still works, just not the elemental stuff?" Jaela asks, content to plot while waiting for their arrival.

[Anastasia]

"I don't k-know," The efreet says right back.

[Corwin]

"I'll deal with him," Jaela states. "Dana, you and Mei will help out where needed, so long as you stay as a team." Turning towards the Master, Jaela smiles. "For you I have a special treat. Our prisoner will show you how to get to Jalal Sarrani's offices if he keeps any in Fourfires, or to Hasan of the Obsidian Triumph. Can you put that asshole down?"

[Anastasia]

"Got it," Dana says agreeably, "Time to kick some ass."

The Master nods, "I believe so. At the least he will be a worthy opponent." The Master smiles then, "I yearn for one, none of the efreet have qualified."

[Corwin]

Satisfied with those responses, Jaela settles down to await their arrival.
