"Hidden door here," Marie says to Alicia, going over to open it up!

[Anastasia]

Here lies a room. A room with the Eye of Shar engraved into the floor, glowing with a faint purple light that casts deep shadows over the room. In the center lies a stairway going even deeper into the ground.

[Ebiris]

A slender line of silver fire whips out from Alicia's fingertip and defaces that eye engraving, scoring two deep gouges criss-crossed over it. Then the two of them descend those stairs - the shadows went down after all!

[Anastasia]

On silver fire touching the eye, the glow sputters out and fades, the gouges remaining.

Deeper within you find the stairs end. At the bottom sits a stone archway, colored purple and black in alternating bands. There is no light coming from it - for Marie can discern and identify the powerful, unholy magic of utterdark when she sees it.

"Utterdark spell," Marie says helpfully.

"I'll handle it then," Alicia says, a mage's disjunction rippling around the archway.

Magic is torn away, darkness sundered. Ahead is a hall decorated with Sharran symbols and the Eye of Shar, another door ahead. At this door stands a skeleton, a large creature, perhaps a troll. It begins to move as you come into sight, currently 55ft away.

[Ebiris]

Said skeleton promptly explodes in a blast of sunlight as Alicia and Marie stride onwards.

Supreme initiative means I can't fail, if it survives we can roll for the skelly and Marie.

"You know we might be a bit over the top for this one," Marie says to Alicia as she goes ahead to check the door for traps while Alicia defaces the Sharran eye symbols with more slender whips of silver fire.
