How many portals and how far apart are the two furthest portals from each other?

Also take 10 for spellcraft for 57 on the dome and the portals to see what Marie can discern about them.

Marie can spy about a dozen portals even - but with everything she could be missing a few in the crowd. They seem to be reasonably spaced, usually about 60ft apart but not always, sometimes coming closer together.

The portals are actual planar portals, freshly created. They'll need to be closed permanently to stop this for good.

How does one go about permanently closing planar portals without things like the Sword of the Sealed Gate?

Also any info on the dome?

A wish or miracle would do, or deific intervention, or specialized magic. Alternately, with freshly formed portals, a strong enough dimensional block/anchor/lock style of spell might be enough to cause one to collapse. The stronger the caster, the better.

And what does Marie know about the dome?

Marie's a very strong caster! Also the portals are really close together so she can easily cover them with the teleport block spell. Flying back to Jessica and groping around blindly where she left her she tries to reconnect. A prayer to Alicia allows her to pass on word.

Marie's spotted the portals. She can seal them and rile the demons up before she commences her amazing barrage to clear the field and you can handle any elites that meet her challenge.

The dome stops creature of law and good. Creatures of both chaos and evil are strengthened and mildly healed by going through it, gaining a profane blessing to attacking and defending.

That sounds wonderful. Thank you, sister. Then you can mop up the remaining forces.

Assuming she manages to latch onto Jessica again, Marie lets Jessica carry them out and nearer the portals so she can do her part. She doesn't really need to be that near to them anyway but she may as well work from the centre outwards.

Marie prays to Alicia who is being very patient about all of this.

Marie would like you to take her out near the portals. She'll detach from you and make herself a target, you stay hidden until something worthy of your blade appears.

She was talking directly to Marie so she can directly reply, y'know.

By what means? Marie can't do godspeech and superior invis prevents her from speaking normally since it prevents all sounds.

People often reply to such in prayer. Jessica can be prayed to.
