Before you the wall of fog crumbles. 500ft ahead of you is a walled fortress, no obvious way in. It seems hazy, shifting and indistinct.

From the description you got when you got here, so yeah, no obvious way in.

Can I tell what's protecting it or if a Disintegrate will punch through? Or do I need a detect magic or something?

The walls are enchanted to be stronger, though not disintegration proof.

More interestingly, you note the teleportation block is no longer in effect here.

Alyssa sends to the others, 'I should be able to rip a hole in the wall. Be aware that the teleport block seems to be gone. Either it was an ability of that mist construct or they're pulling in reinforcements. That can go both ways though. Emily, Jarem, see if you can contact your respective houses and commanders for possible back up. I don't want to do it if we can avoid it, but I don't want to be slogging 10 to 1.'

So first, do I still have to ranged touch attack a wall? Second, are there other targets around?

Yes, to guard against natural 1s.

What do you mean by targets? There's lots of wall to aim at if you want a particular stretch of it or not.

I mean all my Disintegrates are chained, so it hits 21 targets. Unless you let me hit 21 chunks of the wall, I'll have things to spare.
