Not so much with the reading, these days.  More with the writing; I've been reading a bit of Haruhi fanfiction, and I have a soft spot for Ranma fiction, still (for some reason)....

Kind of interesting, but ultimately, annoyingly like the Bet.  Author says, "I'm going to write leadins to a bunch of interesting stories, but only bother finishing the highest voted one -- also, it can't be Akane."  Come to think of it, that's more than just _like_ the Bet....

Anyway, it was actually kinda interesting at first, but I kinda ... stopped caring before it ended.  Maybe I'll go back and take another look.

Kinda.  My debt at the bank of my parents increases constantly.  I pretty much must get insurance, be covered, pretend it wasn't a pre-existing condition.....  :(

Though, for what it's worth, my condition (assuming we've diagnosed it correctly -- it could be stomach cancer, or an ulcer, or an alien parasite (or a less alien parasite, but ew)) is seldom lethal.  Then again, it also does not improve without treatment. :\

Speaking of insurance, I'm grumpy because I live in Washington and their medical coverage is getting a severe cutback.  Specialist coverage is going bye-bye.

Good thing my glasses-frames decided to go kaboom before new-years or I'd have to pay for those buggers out of pocket.  And they aren't cheap where I'm from.
