[00:13] <@Carthrat-GMS> <->
[00:15] <@Carthrat-GMS> After a heroic (sort of) battle against a group of ogres, the nameless Janni who shanghaied the mercenaries into it lead them to a nearby human village, or, at least, the closest thing to it. Little more than a walled enclosure in the middle of the desert, the place was a resting spot for merchant caravans and the like, wagons, people and horses stopping to gather water and food (the latter provided by other traders, at least, in part.)
[00:16] <@Carthrat-GMS> (the latter provided by other traders, at least, in part.) (More.)
[00:17] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Hmph. It looks even smaller than when I last saw it," mutters the Jann, shaking his head. "Well, here you are. Free passage is yours, at least, as free as the desert is. May fortune provide for you, as it does for so few other humans about these parts."
[00:21] <@Thrall> "We'll get by," Thrall growls, spurring his horse towards the town. "Thanks for guiding us this far."
[00:23] <@Carthrat-GMS> The Jann bows wordlessly, shortly turning away and walking back into the desert. Within moments he is gone, vanished into thin air amongst the sand. (More)
[00:27] <@Carthrat-GMS> The town's central feature is probably the oasis, a practical lake in the centre around which the town is constructed. Stone houses are built around the water, and there's a decent crowd of people about- mostly villagers, gathering water or trading from open stands. The two dominant features of note (aside from the oasis) are the array of wagons, horses and camels to one side, no doubt owned by enterprising merchants- and a single temple near the entrance, one that you all recognize as unusual, for it is a temple of Shaundakul.
[00:27] <@Carthrat-GMS>  no doubt owned by enterprising merchants- and a single temple near the entrance, one that you all recognize as unusual, for it is a temple of Shaundakul.
[00:30] * @Thaeos turns the the group, snapping some sand out of his cloak and patting down his clothes, sending dust everywhere.
[00:32] * @Maz instinctively moves away.
[00:34] * @Seraphin steps away from Thaeos, looking about. "Certainly...sparse," she sighs, wishing for the city and the sea. Damnable deserts.
[00:34] <@Thaeos> "Hmm.. The best bet for small towns like this is to ask some questions around. These people are pretty poor, so a little gold will probably go a long way.."
[00:35] <@Carthrat-GMS> OOC: Maz and Seraphin only, spot checks.
[00:35] <@Seraphin> roll 1d20+8
[00:35] * +Serith bats the dice around, getting a roll for Seraphin : [ 1d20=19 ]{27}
[00:36] <@Thaeos> "And with the Rider's temple being here, they'll probably be used to helping travelers out... Think I'll head over to the temple.."
[00:36] * @Thaeos looks over to the temple thoughtfully.
[00:37] <@Maz> roll 1d20+2
[00:37] * +Serith bats the dice around, getting a roll for Maz : [ 1d20=19 ]{21}
[00:39] <@Seraphin> "Oh great...family," Seraphin mutters to herself, sighing.
[00:39] * @Thaeos snaps his head around to glance at Seraphin and then turns to look where she's staring at.
[00:40] <@Thrall> "What?" Thrall's head snaps towards the tiefling. Hopefully that won't mean another fight... damnable ogres.
[00:40] <@Kethean> "Hrm? What do you mean, Seraphin?" the monk asks as he also looks in the same direction as the others.
[00:41] * @Maz glances at Seraphin to see whom she's looking at
[00:42] <@Maz> "Strange," Maz speaks quietly, approaching Seraphin without taking her eyes off the distant tiefling. "Are you sure she's from your family?"
[00:43] * @Seraphin points, trying to be discrete and not do things like raise her arm. "She has a staff, across the oasism if you get closer she'll have white hair and fangs...and no, not particularly, the feeling of hate just suggested in-laws or the like."
[00:44] <@Thrall> "Oh," Thrall relaxes. "Fine, then. So long as she doesn't interfere..."
[00:44] <@Maz> "Ah." Maz shrugs. "I actually recognize her. I suppose it's only proper someone from my side showed up."
[00:44] <@Thrall> "Or not..." the half-orc sighs, now turning to regard Maz.
[00:45] <@Seraphin> "Oh, your family?" Seraphin muses, smiling a little. "Yes, I suppose one side can't have the other showing it up."
[00:45] * @Maz shrugs again. "She never tried to kill me, so she's okay in my book."
[00:47] <@Seraphin> "Family that didn't try to kill you? My envy."
[00:47] <@Maz> "Well, there's a first time for everything. You needn't be envious just yet."
[00:49] <@Seraphin> "True enough," Seraphin agrees, shrugging.
[00:49] <@Kethean> "There's always some family you can appreciate. Even if you don't know it until they're gone," Kethean adds, looking slightly forlornly at that.
[00:49] <@Carthrat-GMS> The white-haired figure across the oasis walks away, into a building, probably an inn of some sort.
[00:49] <@Thaeos> "What do you want to do about it?"
[00:50] * @Thaeos watches the figure head into the inn.
[00:50] <@Maz> "Find out about any caravans that go where we're headed," Maz responds. "That's why we're here, right?"
[00:51] * @Thaeos shrugs.
[00:51] <@Thaeos> "I'll leave your family to you, then. Anyone need anything before I head to to the temple?"
[00:53] <@Thrall> "What I need, I have to go to the temple for, anyway," Thrall notes, still rather stiff and sore from that frosty attack he suffered earlier.
[00:54] <@Maz> "If they sell any healing potions, by any chance, I'd appreciate one," Maz tells Thaeos. "But nothing else comes to mind."
[00:55] * @Thaeos shrugs.
[00:55] <@Thaeos> "Sure, I'll pick you up one.."
[00:55] <@Kethean> "If we stay here for a while, I can use one day's worth of healing spells on everyone, but I'd still recommend buying the potions," Kethean suggests.
[00:57] <@Kethean> ooc - scratch
[01:03] * @Maz turns to look at Seraphin and Kethean and shrugs. "That inn-like building seems like the best place to get more information, from where I stand, so that's where I'll go. Want to meet back here in an hour?"
[01:08] <@Kethean> "That's fine, and I'll go with you. I don't have much else to do, really, so I might as well accompany you," Kethean replies on his part.
[01:09] <@Seraphin> "Sounds about like what I was thinking," Seraphin murmurs, her lips curling a little in a smile. "If you wouldn't mind the accompaniment."
[01:09] <@Maz> "Sure thing," Maz agrees with a nod, and sets out towards the inn.
[01:11] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Oasis' Boon" is a sturdy inn, the type you usually expect to see in these sort of extreme places- built for solid comfort and a better sense of stability. It seems to have been hewn entire out of rock, stone chairs and stone tables being the norm. A minstrel plays on an outlandish guitar as you enter, a rapid and urgent melody coming fron his fingers. (More)
[01:12] <@Carthrat-GMS> There are a few clients enjoying conversation and a quiet drink, and as a woman approaches you, you spy another sitting in a corner table- with white hair and dusky skin. A couple of humanoids, clad in hoods and robes sit with her.
[01:13] <@Carthrat-GMS> Meanwhile, the waiting-lady approaches- "Welcome, m'lords and ladies," she says, jauntily, peering closely at each of you. "What can I d'ya for?"
[01:14] <@Maz> "Something to drink would be nice," Maz responds, and takes a look at her companions. "What would you like?"
[01:17] * @Seraphin shrugs. "How much is wine?" she asks softly, having had her fill of ale in Saradush.
[01:18] <@Carthrat-GMS> "That would depend on the vintage," replies the woman, cheerily. "There's the Cormyrian White- that's a silver a glass. Or you could try the Calishite stuff- that's only four coppers."
[01:19] <@Kethean> "Anything will be fine, so long as it's something good," Kethean replies before looking at the waiting lady. "Feel free to make a suggestion, miss."
[01:20] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Well, we'll get you seated, and then I'll be serving you all," she says, hustling you all over to a table- conveniantly just across the room from the other fiendling. The stony seats are surprisingly comfortable, and when it comes, the wine is decent.
[01:22] * @Maz takes a seat with her back to the wall, observing the white-haired tiefling and her group.
[01:24] * @Seraphin sits perpindicular to Maz, trying to keep both door and unknown tiefling in sight if she can, but otherwise just enjoying the wine. Memories!
[01:24] <@Carthrat-GMS> The white-haired tiefling sits closer to the wall, with the two robed men on the edge of the table. They're eating a meal, it seems- the robed men artfully managing to consume a bowl of stew without getting any on their cloaks. The tiefling woman glances back at you, smirking somewhat. "
[01:24] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Well, well, well. Who would've thought they'd let the bird out the nest," she chuckles.
[01:28] * @Maz smiles and waves at the loud woman, but doesn't respond beyond that.
[01:35] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Impertinence. But to be expected amongst those who leave the tree," she smirks. "Whatever could bring a member of the Nebes family out here- especially one with such a prestigious arrangement?"
[01:35] <@Maz> "A healthy desire to live," Maz say, keeping her smile on.
[01:36] * @Seraphin raises her eyebrows, rather curious, but keeping quiet. The fellow members of her 'race' are certainly criousities, but not ones normally gets a chnce to observe--at least half of the time because they'd rather stab you first.
[01:36] <@Seraphin> *curiousities -_-
[01:36] <@Carthrat-GMS> "I trust you keep this bold desire," replies the tiefling. "Though, you seem to have traded one sort of evil for another," she adds wryly, glancing at Seraphin.
[01:37] * @Kethean looks on curiously as the other two talk, wondering if he should be a part of this...dispute of sorts, or if he should be leaving.
[01:37] * @Maz grins at her. "That's okay, she doesn't want to marry me."
[01:38] <@Carthrat-GMS> "But you would make the perfect couple."
[01:38] <@Carthrat-GMS> "After all... you're both running from fate."
[01:39] * @Maz snorts. "Thanks, I guess," she says wryly. "How about you? Are you running from fate as well?"
[01:39] * @Seraphin snickers softly, shrugging. "Fate was botching it anyway," she offers softly.
[01:40] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Were that the case, fate has found me," she snorts, glancing at Kethean. "Are you out to help them or hinder them, thrall of Savras?"
[01:41] <@Kethean> "Well, if fate truly has botched things for my companions, I would assume that having brought me to them, Savras means for me to aid them, wouldn't you say?" Kethean replies politely.
[01:43] <@Carthrat-GMS> "And question you not your fate?" replies the woman. "Or is your faith beyond question?"
[01:45] * @Seraphin glances at her cup. Red wine could look like a pool of blood some times. White wine was just that--alcohol. "There's no rule that says fate is absolute. Even a baatezu telling you that is just trying to seal your soul in."
[01:48] * @Maz takes a sip of wine, leaning back in her seat.
[01:49] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Savras would disagree. But I don't," smirks the woman. "But your fate seems awfully quick. For when the house of Nebes learns where it's wayward childe walks, I have little doubt anything will stop her reclamation.. or, should her sibling find her, her end."
[01:50] <@Maz> "I could live without that," Maz tells her, giving the wine in her cup a whirl. "How about you?"
[01:52] <@Seraphin> "This is beginning to sound more like my family as we go," Seraphin hums, smiling. "Less blood so far, though," she continues, speaking mostly to herself.
[01:52] <@Maz> "There was plenty of blood earlier," Maz can't help but grumble to herself. "Stupid evil sister."
[01:54] <@Carthrat-GMS> "The more profitable way is the preferrable way," replies the woman. "Luckily for you, I happen to be the only one in a position to.. relay.. your whereabouts. And now you see how fate is a matter of both choice and constriction, for only three paths stand open for you."
[01:54] <@Seraphin> "Figures. Still, my family would be dismembering Someone by now," Seraphin sighs.
[01:58] <@Maz> "I certainly feel lucky today," Maz agrees. "What would my open paths be?
[01:59] * @Thrall enters the inn, dusty poncho at least covering his spiked armour, and straw hat hanging off his back now that he's inside. Spotting his companions, he gives a nod of recognition, going first to the bar to get something to drink.
[02:00] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Path the first- you leave without paying. There is little for me to say about that path, for I am sure your imagination shall do better."
[02:00] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Path the second- in a misguided attempt at anonmyity, you attempt to slay me. A difficult proposition for lower fiendlings like yourselves, and lacking in finesse.. but not without credit. Nonetheless, should I die, be assured that your location shall still be revealed to those who would greatly like to know."
[02:02] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Path the third, now... what could you offer for my silence that is not a knife in the back? Given the company you keep... and the ground you tread.. I am sure you can produce something."
[02:03] <@Maz> "I have a really nifty crossbow?" Maz offers, shrugging. "I'm not marrying you, if that's what you're getting at."
[02:03] <@Thrall> Mug of ale in hand, Thrall doesn't join the others just yet, instead choosing to lean on the bar and observe the drama playing out.
[02:06] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Your wit indicates your preferred choice," replies the fiendling, shaking her head. "Honestly. I suppose you don't have any Wyld to call your own, either..."
[02:09] <@Maz> "You suppose correctly. I suppose." Maz makes a face. "Are you offering me one? Because that would be neat."
[02:13] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Do you not walk from the East?" she snorts. "Is that not why you travel with the fateful cleric? Are you not reaching between Mystra's breasts to pluck out the magic she forgets?"
[02:15] <@Maz> "Okay, you got me. But we haven't had time to do any plucking, yet." Maz sets her mug on the table, shrugging.
[02:20] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Unfortunate for you and I," sighs the woman, heavily. "But, I shan't complain- gain for me lies in all the above paths."
[02:21] <@Maz> "Except the one where you, you know, die," Maz points out helpfully.
[02:21] <@Carthrat-GMS> "I don't believe that one is truly worthy of consideration, but I added it for the sake of completeness."
[02:22] <@Maz> "In any case, you seem to be rather nice, what with not trying to kill me off the bat and all," Maz says, looking at the other tiefling. "So what's your price? If it's within reason, there's no reason why both of us can't come out of this ahead."
[02:24] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Magic, Wyld or Weave, is my price," replies the woman, frowning. "I suppose a suitably vast sum of gold would do."
[02:26] <@Maz> "Just point me in the right direction, then," Maz tells her. "I'll be sure to get some for you."
[02:28] <@Carthrat-GMS> "It's the cleric's job to provide that sort of direction, as I'm sure you well know," snorts the woman. "But does he?"
[02:38] <@Kethean> "As you seem to have divined given your tone...no, I do not. Savras has not offered me any information regarding that, so if you wish to share it, please do so," Kethean answers.
[02:40] * @Thrall snorts, turning to face the bar as he drinks. This is just stupid.
[02:42] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Hmph. So be it. You clerics channel positive and negative energy when you smite your undead opponents, or whatever it is you do to them. The rends in the Weave, I'm told, gush out unusual amounts of both sorts of energy... and you clerics, if you try, can feel it. Somehow."
[02:44] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Perhaps your god would be better at explaining than me."
[02:45] <@Kethean> "I see. Perhaps you are right, but we shall have to see if Savras deems it necessary for me to learn such information," Kethean answers with a short nod.
[02:46] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Then it comes down to that," says the tiefling, shaking her head. "It seems your freedom depends on the will of the gods.. well. For you, at least, Nebes. Despite her words, I'm sure the... 'princess'... has no illusions about where she will end up."
[02:48] * @Thaeos walks in through the door and looks around, spotting the group and heading over to them.
[02:48] <@Thaeos> "'Ey, all.
[02:48] <@Thaeos> "
[02:49] * @Thrall just rolls his eyes as he continues listening to the conversation. Everyone's just so wonderfully well informed. Is there some sort of infernal social club around here?
[02:50] * @Seraphin smiles winsomely at Maz's relative. "The real question isn't where I will end up, it's how and when I will end up there...and under who's auspices."
[02:51] * @Maz glances at Thaeos, before returning her attention to the white-haired tiefling. "You're awfully informed. Is there some infernal social club in these parts, or are our beloved relatives merely horrible gossipers?"
[02:51] * Kototo-DOOMSDAY is now known as Kotono-WA4
[02:52] <@Carthrat-GMS> "I like to know things that may profit me," replies the fiend, airily. "Such as who can profit for me.. and how, as well. But I must say, you two are of particular interest to our sort. Naturally.. those who want to be somebody would be keeping an eye out."
[02:54] <@Maz> "Busybodies. Infernal busybodies," Maz grumbles, a grimace on her face. "Fine then," she finally responds. "I'll get you what you want. How will I meet you again?"
[02:56] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Oh, I will be here in a weeks time. I'm glad you're willing pick the better path for all of us."
[02:57] <@Maz> "Yeah, yeah." Maz wrinkles her nose. "Hey, what was your name again? I'm terrible with them, as you know."
[02:58] <@Carthrat-GMS> "I think it's better that you're worse," nods the woman, standing up to leave.
[02:58] <@Maz> "How annoying," Maz grumbles, and drinks the rest of her wine.
[02:59] <@Carthrat-GMS> The white-haired fiend and her companions make their way to the exit of the tavern, though they give Thrall a sidelong glance as they head for the door.
[03:00] * @Thrall returns the look with equanimity, silently working on his own drink.
[03:00] <@Carthrat-GMS> Soon enough, they depart back into the sun.
[03:00] * @Maz waves at the waitress, trying to gain her attention.
[03:01] <@Thaeos> "So, what was that about?"
[03:01] <@Carthrat-GMS> The waitress walks over, shooting a dirty glance at the door. "They didn't pay," she mutters.
[03:02] <@Maz> "I knew she was an annoying bitch," Maz mutters, giving the door a dirty glance before turning to look at the waitress. "Where are they from, anyway? Are they staying here?"
[03:02] <@Carthrat-GMS> "They weren't staying here, and they haven't really talked to anyone," replies the waitress. "I think they're adventurers of the scrappier sort, personally."
[03:03] * @Maz shrugs. "Probably." She pauses. "Excuse me, are there any caravans departing tomorrow?"
[03:04] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Yes- Al'Fazhard, I think? He was packing up all his silks and whatnot, so I would guess he's off to Darromar tomorrow."
[03:06] <@Maz> "Excellent," Maz says, smiling. "Would you be so kind to point me in the right direction? We would love to accompany him on his journey through the desert."
[03:07] <@Carthrat-GMS> "He's outside, probably packing up," replies the waitress. "Don't really think you can miss him..."
[03:08] * @Maz nods, and turns to look at the others. "Would you like to stay at the inn today, and depart in the morning?"
[03:09] * @Thaeos nods.
[03:09] <@Maz> roll 1d20+1
[03:09] * +Serith bats the dice around, getting a roll for Maz : [ 1d20=15 ]{16}
[03:09] <@Thaeos> "Aye, I need some rest to sort a few things out. Can be done on the road though.. Just more comfortable to do here."
[03:12] <@Thaeos> "Also.. I'm sure you all have figured out I'm carrying around a chunk of silver by now, right?"
[03:14] <@Maz> "It was very hard to miss, yes."
[03:15] <@Thaeos> "Mmm.. I wasn't trying too hard to hide it very well, either. Well, I've learned a bit more about what's actually going on.. And if you all want, I'll tell you, since I actually know now. Some-what, at least."
[03:16] <@Seraphin> "If you're traveling with us, we might as well have more information," Seraphin agrees, shrugging.
[03:19] <@Thaeos> "Alright.. Well.. Seems it's a blessed weapon of Selune. A long lost one, too. Apparently, I've been 'chosen' to put it back togeather."
[03:22] <@Thaeos> "And it appears the second piece of it is in this desert somewhere... And just happens to be guarded by a drake of some kind. Blue, most likely, from what the Shaundakul priest said."
[03:26] <@Maz> "We'll probably stumble upon it, with our luck," Maz comments. "Or the Sharrans will."
[03:28] <@Thaeos> "Mm. That's the other thing. Selune is in direct conflick with Shar, and so is Shaundakul. And I've already destroyed an altar and we raided a temple.. They're probably already looking for me for that, and if they don't know I also have the bow.. Well, when they do figure it out.."
[03:29] <@Maz> "Good luck with that!" Maz tells Thaeos, beaming. She makes sure to pat him on his back a few times for good measure.
[03:29] * @Thrall finally approaches their table, leaving the bar behind. "So what you're saying is, we don't have enough trouble with everyone's fiendish families, we need to get squabbling powers involved as well?" he comments acidly.
[03:30] * @Thaeos shrugs.
[03:30] <@Kethean> "When it rains, it pours," Kethean quotes.
[03:30] <@Thaeos> "That's why I decided to tell you. The conflict of gods isn't something to be taken lightly. I'm leaving where you go up to you."
[03:31] <@Maz> "Oh, I'm certain my family wouldn't be a problem if I just pay off that bitch," Maz says airily.
[03:31] <@Seraphin> "Well, dragon hoard raiding is usually quite profitable," Seraphin suggests, shrugging. "And it's not like Shar is about to forget what we did to her temple."
[03:31] <@Thrall> "Oh. Raided many, have you?" Thrall glances Seraphin's way.
[03:32] <@Seraphin> "No, that's just what you hear everywhere--dragon hoard this, dragon hoard that, mountaisn of gold and piles of gems."
[03:34] <@Maz> "I wonder whether a little dragon translates into a little treasure mountain."
[03:35] <@Thaeos> "This is something that was given to me. I expect to do it on my own. I'm used to running through the world alone. But, by coiencidence, you all have already put one foot into this. The priest told me this was my last chance to dodge out of this, and I chose to keep with it. I'm giving you the same option."
[03:36] <@Thrall> "They don't gather their hoards by being weak," Thrall glowers. "We're out here to do a job - a job I intend to complete and then return to civilisation. You want to go off and fight a dragon and dance on the strings of Gods, be my guest. My concern is the Sharrans."
[03:41] <@Maz> "I don't really think beyond the Sharrans," Maz says with another shrug.
[03:42] <@Seraphin> "Deal with our Sharran problem. After that? Who knows," Seraphin shrugs.
[03:45] * @Thaeos nods.
[03:46] <@Thaeos> "I understand.. And if it works out that we find the Sharrans before I get wind of the Drake, then I'll go with you. If, however, I get a lead on the string... I'm going to go after it, then."
[03:51] <@Carthrat-GMS> A few more minutes of idle conversation pass by, and arrangements are made and plans are discussed. So, the next day...
[03:51] <@Carthrat-GMS> <-60sSpecialEffectsTeamStrikesAgain->
[03:54] <@Carthrat-GMS> "I had not expected to you see you again," admits Ferzouf, shaking his head wryly as you depart the oasis-town. "Destiny is certainly whimsical, of late." The mercenary had been hired as a guard for the caravan you now accompany, a collection of camels, wagons and people making a remarkable amount of noise as they traverse the desert.
[03:56] * @Thrall snorts. "It does take unusual turns. Can't say I ever expected the same... At least we'll have no cause to fight each other, on this journey."
[03:57] <@Thaeos> "You travel through this desert often?"
[03:58] <@Carthrat-GMS> "My stomach cringes at the thought," says Ferzouf, grimacing. "I have travelled through here on jobs frequently, actually. It is a difficult journey- highly strenuous, but the gold is good, and it is better than Calimshan.
[03:59] <@Thaeos> "Mm. Have you ever heard of an oasis that is home to a drake or a dragon?"
[04:01] <@Carthrat-GMS> "A dragon? You're certainly looking for trouble," notes Ferzouf, raising an eyebrow. "Hmm... I've heard of the blue dragons around these parts. They bury themselves in the sand, you see, and leap out when prey is near. I suppose it would make sense for them to lair near an oasis..."
[04:02] <@Thaeos> "Anything specific?"
[04:04] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Roughly the areas where the dragons lair, perhaps," murmurs Ferzouf. "The Jann would know more- they know the desert through glass mirages- but all I know is where some caravans vanish, and where survivors stagger back from, scarred and burned."
[04:05] <@Thrall> "Places any sensible person would avoid," Thrall can't help but note.
[04:06] <@Carthrat-GMS> "Too true. These trade routes exist to stay away from such environs."
[04:06] <@Thaeos> "Hmm.. Where do the Jann make home? We met one already, but I've got no clue how to find them."
[04:09] <@Carthrat-GMS> "They wander, like us," replies Ferzouf. "But they know the oasises, and frequent them often with their mortal.. how should I say it.. followers, I suppose. Waiting at one for a day or two could yield results. Alternately.. if you do not have permission to cross these sands, they will certainly find you, if you go alone."
[04:10] <@Thrall> "We already got permission," Thrall notes. "Just had to kill a tribe of ogres to get it, but we have it, now."
[04:10] <@Thaeos> "Where'd the closest oasis at?"
[04:11] <@Carthrat-GMS> "We'll reach it this evening," replies Ferzouf, grinning. "I hope you filled your waterskins, friends."
[04:11] * Kotono-WA4 is now known as Kotono
[04:13] <@Thrall> "We're well supplied," Thrall affirms, his own waterskin filled and plenty of supplies in their own caravan.
[04:13] * @Thaeos nods.
[04:13] <@Thaeos> "I guess I'll be staying behind at the oasis, then."
[04:15] <@Carthrat-GMS> <-Finite->
