"It is said have been made by a Roman artisan for Marcus Arelius. What exactly it is is not known...be it sword, cloak, ring, whatever. Anyway, Marcus Arelius liked the item so much he ordered his priests and mages to 'Make it unto a thing worthy of the Roman Emprerors'.  It was lost at his death, but has been said to pop up every so often, saving the soul and spirit of one beyond hope. Vampires, a arch lich, lost souls...these are the ones the artifact seems to find."

Marcus Arulieus.. I'm fairly certain he, himself, *was* an Emperor.. not sure what writers were about at that time, but I'm sure I can find out.. and I'll start looking from there."

She makes a face. "My parents made me take Latin all through my childhood. It was terribly boring, but I did learn it," she says. "They were big on the classics like that..."

Carthrat heads over to the library and begins by searching for texts on both Marcus Aurlius and White Glow..

Sadly, your search doesn't turn up the combonation of White Glow and Marcus Aurelius. There is much about the old Emperor, but little on White Glow.

The few fragments you do find make passing reference to a 'item that he held in high favor', but nothing beyond that.
