[Corwin]

Cedric greets Salivus, before shaking his head. "I'm afraid not. I was going to ask you the same thing."

[Carthrat]

Salvius sighs. "I'll see if he's still alive, though I doubt he is," he says, heading towards the body to check if there was anything he could do.

[Corwin]

Agreeing with Salvius, Cedric follows him, ready to help if asked.

[Dracos]

The body seems quite dead as they examine it.  A small but deep wound in the back, between the shoulders, is apparently what killed him.

Luciano sees two men examining the body.

Luciano decides to stay hidden and keep searching for the time being.

OCC:  What happened to the crowd?  O_o

[Carthrat]

Salvius shakes his head. "He's dead," he says to Cedric. "Perhaps a falling out with his backers.."

He walks away from the corpse and the crowd. "The guard will take care of it. It's not really any of my business, anyway."

[Corwin]

"I see," Cedric says with a frown, walking back towards the inn. "Have you had breakfast yet? If not, would you care to join me?"

[Carthrat]

"I've eaten," replies Salvius, "But I could use a drink. Sure, I'll join you." With that, he follows Cedric..

[Corwin]

Cedric steps back into the inn, and heads for the dining area, looking for the innkeeper again, or any of her staff.

[Sunhawk]

Bran ambles back from a morning walk to see a body, and shrugs.  Another merchant in trouble.  Entering the inn, he looks around.

[Dracos]

Cedric spots the innkeeper, heading back into the inn as she starts her work.

Bran spots Cedric and Salvius entering the inn.

Luciano notices the crowd dispersing as a pair of guards approached.

Salvius waves over the innkeeper. "A mug of water."

[Dracos]

The innkeeper nodded and came over, planting a mug of water on a nearby table, "Will you two be having anything else?"

Luciano shrugs and heads inside the inn to find his comrades.

[Corwin]

Cedric orders breakfast, asking at the end, "Would you have any idea what that ruckus outside was about?"
