Welcome to the City of Rome

[Trunkyboy]

Luciano narrows his eyes at Salvius but decides to let it go for now.  The upcoming fight is all that matters for the moment.

[Corwin]

"Curious." Cedric frowns, scratching his chin. "Well, she probably just left this inn. We can just meet her at Mr. Romansk's stables. Shall we go there and wait for our next fight?"

[Carthrat]

"Yes. Though you'd think she'd notify us of any changes in arrangements.. no matter," replies Salvius, standing up.

[Corwin]

Cedric nods again, and stands up as well. "Well, we might as well be off," he says, leading the way to the arena.

[Carthrat]

Salvius follows Cedric, pondering intense philosophical thoughts..

Is it true that by tightening your boots when they are loose, your belt untightens itself out of spite? And once that is fixed, your shoes become too tight?"

[Trunkyboy]

After a while Luciano shakes his head to clear it of his musings.  "Shall we go?" he says, turning to Bran.

[Sunhawk]

"Sure, why not?" Bran answers, and gets up to follow.

[Trunkyboy]

Luciano ambles toward the arena.

'Feels strange not to have someone kick you awake right before a match,' he ponders silently.

[Dracos]

Arriving early at the arena, the four gladiators headed to Romansk's stables, where they were greeting by their stable manager, Romanask.

"Here early?  All pumped and ready for battle, friends?"

[Corwin]

"Of course, Mr. Romansk," Cedric replies, before recalling something. "Is Miss Altania around? I'm afraid I dont know of her current place of residence."

[Trunkyboy]

"I am ready," Luciano states simply.

[Dracos]

Romansk blinked, "She's not with you?  No, she's not been around."

Dracos

[Corwin]

"Curious. We'll wait as much as we can for her to arrive then, I suppose," he says, glancing at Salvius.

[Sunhawk]

Bran goes off to the side to stretch as he waits - no sense in just sitting around before a fight.

[Carthrat]

"I think she left the city," says Salvius. "But I suppose I shouldn't jump to conclusions."
