Welcome to the City of Rome

Bran sits down at his seat up front, and inspects the arena, waiting for the next fight.

A week passed in laziness, the gladiators somehow getting by as they stayed at the relatively comfy inn.  Their manager, Romansk, had send them a message the previous day informing them of an upcoming fight today at noon.  As the sun rose over the horizon, illuminating the city, a ruckus occured outside the inn.

[Corwin]

Cedric wakes up, and looks outside the window, to see what's causing the ruckus.

[Dracos]

Outside, he sees a crowd gathered outside the inn, bloodstains along the wall and some body, hard to make out details from this range, along the wall.

Dracos

Luciano wakes up with a start and gripping his chain tightly, slinks to see what caused the commotion.

OCC This doesn't mean my char is charging off to find out what's wrong, he's going to stop at a safe and prefarably hidden distance from what is making the noise and then decide what to do.

Edit:  Luciano is slinking downstairs and outside.

[Corwin]

Cedric puts on his armor and grabs his sword, going downstairs in search of the innkeeper.

Walking down the street in the early morning (early to rise, late to bed, and, uh, was there something else to the phrase? Or maybe he'd gotten it all wrong..), Salvius sees the commotion, and wanders over to investigate, peering over the crowd..

[Dracos]

Cedric:

Getting downstairs, the innkeeper doesn't seem to be in the main room.

OOC: Might be a day before I get to Rat, synching something.

Dracos

[Corwin]

Not finding the innkeeper, Cedric attempts to get closer to the crowd and peer over the people's heads to discern what's happening.

[Dracos]

Shuffling past the crowd, Cedric and Salvius could see a pudgy looking merchant, a fancy hat with some gold trim covering his face.  A line of blood ran along the ground from him to the right of the inn.  He appeared to be asleep, save for that.

Cedric looks around the crowd for any familiar face, as there are so many of his fellow former gladiators staying at that inn, intending to ask them whether they know anything about what happened.

[Dracos]

Cedric easily makes out Salvius standing nearby.

Dracos
OOC: Yeah, Luciano, you are out there too, but not seen since you are sneaking about!

[Corwin]

Cerdic makes his way to Salvius, trying to get his attention with a wave.

[Trunkyboy]

Luciano's eyes narrow at the corpse.  Taking extra care to stay hidden, he begins searching for anyone else that might also be sneaking in the shadows.

OCC:  Luciano is searching for any suspicious character hiding, or trying to hide.  Actually, they don't have to look suspicious at all ^^

Salvius waves at Cedric, approaching him. "Know what happened?" he asks.
