You can call this Metroid: Zero Mission or you could call it "Yet another retake of every other good metroid".  Both would be right.  If you enjoyed the early metroids and metroid fusion, then it's pretty damn certain that you'll enjoy this.  There is almost nothing new in the entirety of the game and it is short.  If you are looking for innovative gameplay, it just isn't here.

But if you are looking for a fairly exhilerating metroid game, this delivers in spades.  While it has far too few boss battles, the game is pretty good quality throughout with lots of little hidden areas to find and explore.  There's a brief mediocre attempt to pull the storyline into it, but it's easily ignorable for the pretty solid game interface that they use.

Yeah, not verbose, but really, there isn't much more to say on Metroid.  If you like it, you like it.  If you don't, samus is going to come to your house and blow your head off.  Not much options there ^_^.
