Beat Bioshock today. The ending movie is really short, but the rest of the game is full of awesome. I recommend it.

Started playing Warhawk today, pretty fun. Too bad there isn't a single player campaign mode though.
My name is Vash the Stampede. I have been a hunter of peace who chases the mayfly known as love for many, many moons now. There is no rest for me in my search for peace. I meditate diligently every morning. The subjects are life and love. I quit after 3 seconds.

Traveling over the last weekend resulted in some random game playing.

Gave Elite Beat Agents another go.  Cartoons still awesome.  Gameplay still...

Picross DS is an excellent and simple casual puzzle game.  Definitely a good travel pick up.

Dragon Ball Legend Weirdnonenglish feels like a retry of the DBZ card game RPG from SNES days.  Not quite as good (item use for instance is a real pain) but it's a good enough game.  Solid 3 out of 5 type fair.  It goes through the same story you've seen a thousand times before.  About halfway through it and somewhat stalled a bit last night against the range of freiza fights.  The four perspective style they're doing really suffers at major combats where you're facing off against the same bad guy numerous times.

Also played and beat the new turtles GBA game.

Stunningly?  Not bad.  In the right direction.  Not retarded.  Fun.

It has its problems, but it feels a lot more like the classic side scrolling beat-em-ups that were fun before.  April the ninja girl was a bit weird and the writing was atrotious, but still, much better than any other recent offerings.  The last level gets a bit shaky as the enemy coding and hit detection on it could use some serious work, but overall?  RIGHT DIRECTION, YAAAY

Well, Goodbye.

Grabbed Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on my lunch break. Going to give it a whirl soon as I change to more comfortable clothes.
<Cidward> God willing, we'll all meet in Buttquest 2: The Quest for More Butts.

I'm slowly stalling to a halt on Persona 3.  It's feeling to be more a chore than fun.  Too many personas that I barely ever get to use.  More characters than I really can take advantage of and lots of groupthink from them.  It still hasn't kicked into high gear.  The music?  Real downer.  etc. etc.

Dexie Oblivion

Guilty Gear: Accent Core and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
Pet my snake, pet my ssssnaaaake. :P

Bleh.  Another High Elf Wizard in Angband bites the dust.  I'd gotten a Ring of Resist Poison on the first dungeon level, too.  I was doing so well...

Stupid gravity hounds.  Gravity always wins.

Dracos

I'm playing...nothing at the moment.

Absolutely nothing.

Is this not sad?
Well, Goodbye.

Dexie Oblivion

Absolutely pathetic. You should be ashamed.

I want a Chrono Trigger and a Mario RPG run out of you by midnight. :P

How is Accent Core, Dexie? Is it worth buying if you already have XX, or is Guilty Gear pulling a Super Street Fighters Turbo edition again?

Dexie Oblivion

I'd say it's worth it. Several new battle mechanics, two new characters (A.B.A. and fucking ORDER SOL, who is so badass it hurts :D), and updated voices and graphics. It's cheap, too, only 30 bucks.
Pet my snake, pet my ssssnaaaake. :P

I just beat Portal (puzzle game using the HL2 engine, part of the Orange Box). Well worth getting. It has a song by Jonathan Coulton in the end credits!

Dracos

It came out yesterday.  Only 5ish hours huh?

I hate to ask, but does it have a narrative at some point?  The 20-25 minutes I watched someone play just was puzzle room after puzzle room which felt lacking.

It has a shortish narrative; more implied than said. Sorta like Ico or Shadow of the Colossus that way. And the puzzles are great fun. And it has advanced and challenge mode, so there's some good replay value.
