Ignoring any such orders, Euphemia decides to retrieve Ranmaru first.

Ignoring the plight of an innocent young bloodsucker, Euphy instead concentrates! Ranmaru is withdrawn from the void once more, returned to this in a new form!

Ball's in all of your courts now.

[Corwin]

Euphemia's scroll is put to good use restoring Sacchin's vitality, and then she asks, "Now that the knight went belly-up, let's try that smithy once more?"

"Didn't clean that spot out earlier after those treacherous Greeks did me in?" Flasheart asks, puffing himself up. "Well I'll gladly have another go at it, then!"

[Carthrat]

Sacchin glows with pleasure after the healing is cast upon her, and brushes herself off. "Fire... shooting... thing there. Dangerous." She pouts. "Might be gone. Might not."

Ranmaru appears, this time appearing as a long haired, fairly androgenous human with a pair of curved blades at his side...and a familiar looking whistle around his neck. Facing the group, he nods, "My apologies for the delay. Also, when I was forming my new body, I saw a curious whistle, so I picked it up. I think it's supposed to summon something."

"Ah, I'd wondered where the little fellow had gotten to," Flasheart beams as he readies his crossbow and leads the way South.

They walk down the hall, the descending stairway ahead. Soon they'll be able to look over and see the conveyor belt and steelworks if they wish to continue on.

Ranmaru has not been this way before, but is still content to walk at point, simply going where directed by those who know thier way around better then he.
