Just trying to answer a bunch of emailed questions that are asking for a ton of arcane details that I don't have and don't have any resources to get answers from since everyone else is busy this week.

I would offer to join you in an attempt to reach Riverside for stress relief tonight -- I hear they're still evacuatin' folk -- but I will likely be in the office until 1-2 AM.

Have to pull a all nighter tonight to finish my 12 page research paper. Haven't done this in years. On 3rd cup of coffee at 10pm.

Yesterday sucked royally.  It was salvaged by good times with friends, sushi, and the best axe murderer girl anime ever :P

Now to headbutt yesterday's insane work.

I slept on my elbow wrong and I'm getting nerve twinges. Nothing serious but it's enough to prevent me from really focusing on what I'm doing.

So there were layoffs today.

I'll find out what the damages were in total at a meeting in about thirty minutes.

Edit: So I still have a job.  Still stressful, and the, "This is just a restructuring," meeting didn't help.

Lots of pressure to do our jobs better and everyone was given what amounted to admonishments and told to learn new skills to handle different responsibilities.  Performance Test Guy and I both dodged that bullet on account of being highly specialized.  Blearg.
