Vivantha will move over to try and focus her songs into destroying the spiritwall!

Can Vivantha use Spelldeath Refrain twice? I'm going to assume yes so as to not hold this up any more. She's not targeting any of her allies or herself, but is getting within 20ft of the spirit wall in order to target it with the area dispel.

It doesn't matter here, since seriously those rolls.

RAW spelldeath refrain would cap at +10 due to dispel magic's text. It does note to combine bard and seeker of the song level for it, so I do wonder if the intent is for it to go past +10. This is more something for another time, however.


Unfortunately, the wall endures Vivantha's musical refrain. Noise sounds, high and beautiful, yet it is not enough to cause the wall to collapse.

"Unfortunate," Canderella says with a slight shake of her head. She struts on forward, through the wall. "Enough of this playing around," she says, lightning crackling from her wings and up her body. It focuses in her hands, "Talos, I offer these unworthy restless dead to your fury!"

Ball lightning hits each of the remaining ghosts, causing them to burst like overcooked sausages. They suck in everything nearby and are then gone, leaving only the dying and dazed cornugon.

The party at last has a moment to take in their surroundings. They came in the side of a hallway, 15ft wide and about as tall. To the right leads to the steel doors already seen. To the left leads straight for about 60ft until it makes a 90 degree turn to straight ahead and out of sight. The interior is the same stone as the outside, though as you glance at it, you can see the surfaces slightly bulge in places.

"We're in," Adrian says quickly, "We need to press our advantage fast."

Free act for the moment since no able enemies remain. The cornugon can't act for the moment.

"Get over here!" Jaela calls out to Vivantha, waving her over for good measure. Once their last remaining member is past the wall, Hanna tries to call upon healing energy while gesturing for her conjured up axe to go and assault the cornugon.

"Adrian, Mirima, Moonlight, Mirajane, at the front with me," Jaela orders, not wasting any time. "Mei, bar the other corridor with your wall. Mom, kill the downed devil if you have the time before joining up with us."

And then she's off, charging at and then through the set of doors to the right! She can break the outer walls of the crypt with Gae Dioltas, so it would be a good indication of whether the inner doors are better reinforced. If she does fail, that's why Mirima has a scroll of Knock.

Mirajane follows, a matching crown of flames now adorning her head.

Intention is for Vivantha to rejoin us and Mei to ward off the left passage with her wall, Hanna to try and cast Mass Heal on us, Mirajane to cast Crown of Flames and Jaela to charge at the door on the right to break it down. Hanna will use her move action to retask the Spiritual Weapon to beat up the downed cornugon.

If Jaela breaks down the door, she still has a swift action to use after she sees what's there. She ends the turn in Gambit either way, with Mirajane adjacent to her. Hopefully either a charge or Knock will open the door that round.

If Hanna isn't immediately needed to deal with more enemies, she'll spend the next round killing the cornugon before bringing up the rear.

Vivantha passes through the wall, taking the pain and through it.

"Right," Moonlight adjusts her grip on her mace, "Let's do this."

Hanna begins to chant, as meanwhile Mei throws up a wall. It's just in time, as around the corner come at a dozen Necrolytes. They immediately begin to chant, motes of arcane light gathering around them from all directions.

"We have a problem," Mirima calls once the Necrolytes are seen, as meanwhile Jaela smashes into the steel door. It bulges inward from the impact but does not give. At the same time, Hanna finishes her chanting, but the spell fizzles out. Adrian turns towards the Necrolytes, sword at the ready. "Ready to die for your precious little prince?" he shouts.

No init for now, as the wall prevents meaningful contact for the moment. This may change soon, so assume you're in round to round actions for now. Hanna's spell fails and is wasted.

"Thanks, Mirima!" Jaela cheers. "Knew I could count on you!"

She hastens everyone before calling over, "Fighting retreat! Adrian, take charge. Mom, kill that devil you're toying with! Mei, get another wall up if they bring this one down. Cut a couple of them off so we'll defeat them in detail."

Grinning at Moonlight, she tells her, "Now kick that door open so we can say hello."

Using my leftover swift action to cast quickened Haste on everyone, I think we're all in range. I want to proceed with Mirajane, Mirima and Moonlight while Adrian and the others bring up the rear. That might lead us to separate, but probably not just yet.

Adrian and the others position in the rear while Jaela kicks open the door. Ahead lies a chamber full of stone slabs hung from the ceiling, each about 9ft wide and 9ft long. They hang 9ft from the ceiling. There are dozens of them in here, casting the floor below in shadow. It stretches on farther than you can see casually, not that you have much time to look. 35ft away and 10ft to the side is a skeleton. It wears robes of old, tattered gray and gazes with empty eye sockets at the party. It carries a skull in its arms, one that moves and looks about as well.

"You are not welcome here," The skeleton warns in a rasping voice, while meanwhile Adrian calls, "They just disintegrated the wall! We have incoming!"

At the same time, Mei flinches back silently, as if struck.

The skull flies right out of the skeleton's arms, just above it. Its face is twisted into a rictus grin as it cackles, before spewing a glowing green blast at Jaela.

But Jaela instinctively calls on the Triune, the sound of the three names causing the blast to wither and dissolve before it touches her.

Adrian rushes into the teeth of the Necrolytes, hacking deeply into one as he dodges a swipe from a bony staff, then deflects a ray of purple light. Gaelach glows a soft silver as he does battle, while Mei positions herself with a stern look at them. She advances 25ft and stops, opening her mouth and saying but one word, "Angharradh!" Her voice is pure and clear, a quiet tone amplified dozens of times over, until it echos amid the halls like a crack of thunder.

Suddenly warm spring winds blow about, the heroes near her beginning to glow with a soft white light. This same light makes the cornugons shriek and shield themselves, as...

The devils sizzle and cry out, but withstand the worst of it. Blinding light gathers around Mei, angel wings extending out from her back, solid and unlike the ones she normally calls on. She seems more, greater, overwhelming.

Hanna's up. Holy Aura on Adrian and the ones by him, baddies saved against holy word, and she gets greater visage of the deity.
