Sylvie drops into a ready stance as meanwhile Moonlight whistles, "Sure, you keep on thinking that," she says, as they emerge in a ring around the clearing and thus the party. Bears that are too big to be bears, with horned ridges and walking on two feet. They loom over all of you and growl lowly, about eight of them in total.

"Dire bears," Sylvie cracks her knuckles, "Probably celestial ones, though they don't terribly look it."

The biggest one to your right. This one's a little bigger and looks like the leader. You think. Thing is, bears don't make big packs like this. Odd to see a large number of them working together, but as celestial creatures, they're likely smarter than average.
