The Great Druid Hunt (Jaela)

[Corwin]

Unfortunate! And Mirajane is busy. Let's invite Hanna and Crystal!

[Anastasia]

Hanna's found atop Aurora, watching everything below. She seems lost in thought, though she raises her hand in greeting as you approach.

[Corwin]

"Busy?" Jaela asks, alighting on the roof next to her and looking the same as always minus her customary eyepatch.

[Anastasia]

"No." Hanna gestures you over, "Reflecting, nothing more."

[Corwin]

"What about?"

[Anastasia]

"Growth. How one can advance so swiftly in months when thousands of years went by with seemingly no changes in retrospect." Hanna says, "I feel my might rivals a solar's now, at least a beginning one. Before I knew I was nowhere close to them."

[Corwin]

"It comes from adversity," Jaela says with a shrug. "You kept busy in those thousands of years, but not on the level of fighting Nessians, yeah? We probably grow the most when we overcome things outside our comfort zone."

[Anastasia]

"I had adversity, I faced things. Terrible things, wonderful things, relentless things." Hanna looks out over at Water beyond Aurora, "Once I joined Aurora, it's as if a block I wasn't aware of crumbled."

[Corwin]

"In that case, don't think too hard about it. I had this epiphany recently! It doesn't matter. The important thing is to do the right thing, and the rest will follow." Jaela nudges her mother's shoulder. "Fancy a trip out to get your mind off this? I've got this hammer that needs an attitude adjustment!"

[Anastasia]

"Gladly. That one devil hammer?" Hanna rises, wings fluttering as she takes to the air.

[Corwin]

"Yeah. It is time! You can never have too many hammers when forging different things." Jaela rises after her, stretching. "Wanna go together, or invite Crystal along? It feels forever since we hung out."

[Anastasia]

"Crystal? Why not." Hanna peers at you, "So when are you going to tell me?"

[Corwin]

"You know that epiphany I had? It was about going with the flow and not making a big deal of things even if they confused me. Wouldn't really feel right to make a big deal of what realizing it lead to, you know?"

[Anastasia]

Hanna reaches into her clothes, withdrawing a folded up slip of paper. "I wouldn't mind that normally, but the way I found out is tiresome. Take a look at this."

[Corwin]

"Oh, c'mon, you're pretty much the first one I'm telling. And would've mentioned it on the trip anyway. What's up?"
