I have a dream that one day, men will be punched in the face not for the color of their skin, but for the awful content of their character.

Make an K:P check here, Surraruthru. I'll have the others roll as well after that, then add Thurra's answer.

You recall that a typical valeoloth has several tricks. They have keen eyes and ears, darkvision and mindsight. They have eyes as true as any angel's, able to see the invisible and through illusions with see invisibility and true seeing.

"They are sharp eyed and the dark holds no secrets from them," Thurra hisses, "But nothing more."

Mindsight is a feat from Lords of Madness.

"Hmm.. They have a variety of abilities that let them see past magic. True seeing and see invisibility, namely. Darkvision and mindsight as well... If we want to get past them, we need an *extremely* reliable stealth specialist... Though how to defeat all six before they can sound the alarm... Cone of silence? Only if the alarm is sound only... Anti-magic field could work, but it'd have to be shaped correctly.. I could likely take care of the anti-magic field route well enough, but getting close enough to cast it would be a significant issue. Maybe a stealth specialist with a scroll of anti-magic field? Hmm... Suggestions, anyone?"

"Oh, look at that. She lied again," Sylvie says, deadpan and unamused.

"It's a daunting task," Ebony admits, glancing sidelong at Sylvie and the daemon. "The daemons have telepathy, but that may or may not matter, depending on how they're meant to send up an alarm. There may be magic in play, so anti magic would be the best choice."

"A dangerous one," Kascha remarks, "That limits us as much as it limits them."

Surraruthru nods to Kascha. "True, it does. But if we can find a stealth specialist that can shape an Anti-Magic Field, that'll wrap it up nicely. Do we have anyone who can do that?"

"I've never been much for reshaping spells like that, but..." Kascha considers, "Elena!"

After a beat Kascha blushes and shakes her head, "I forgot we're not in Aurora. I'll ask her later. Also, one of us will have to stay here to make sure her circle isn't disturbed. At least until we're ready to go."

"I hate to put you on the spot, Sylvie, but I think you or Ebony would be best suited to guard against any tricks she might have. Would you be willing?"

"I'll do it," Sylvie says, arms crossed. "Give me a reason," she says coolly to it.

Ebony raises an eyebrow, but lets it pass without comment.

Thurra merely stands in the circle, still and waiting.

Plans now?

Go with Kascha and talk to whoever she has in mind, check of Tryll and Vivantha are back, and set up my spells. Spells likely won't be ready until sometime tomorrow night. My pc dying and glasses breaking and back issues have very much distracted me from things.

Anastasia

Okay, lemme pause you until you have spells ready. Kascha's all about me doing a bit of homework on that, while you're waiting on Tryll for the other thing. So relax, let your back heal and get spells in order.

Preparations go by uneventfully.

"There's only one problem," Kascha says, just the two of you in your hoard. "We don't have anyone who fits the bill for an antimagic field like that."

Iron Dragoon

"Hmm.. Do we have a stealth specialist that could use a scroll to put the field in place? The size of it is pretty static, so it's matter of placement."

Anastasia

"Wouldn't work," Kascha points out, "The spell is focused on the caster and only extends 10ft."

"Hmm... So then we'd need a team to do it, and one who could kill the valeoloths after they're in place... Or another plan entirely... Anti-magic rays? But the range on those is rather limited, too... Could we enchant a few items.. Say stones or the like, with it, fly above their sight range and drop them down?"
