So it's exactly what he thought, it's probably not an angel of any sort, just a magic building.

He'll eat and reflect, at least -- that's what he's supposed to do here anyway. He can just ask when he gets to Xiranthador about it.

<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

[12:59] <Rei-chan> Nephrite rolled : 1d20+6 --> [ 1d20=5 ]{11}

The meal passes uneventfully enough.

Go ahead, ball's in your court.

All the other patrons look like they're focusing pretty hard... ah, an opportunity like this rarely presents itself.

Moore tentatively flies over towards the robed individual and clears his throat. "Ah, good day -- am I interrupting?"

Anastasia

The figure looks up at you and - huh.

All you see is a blank, gray void. A voice within your mind. 'Your mind is shielded. I am thankful. Please do not be afraid, for I am under a daemon curse.'

Moore blinks, then nods a few times like he understands. He rubs his chin a few times. "I'm so sorry to hear that! I do know a few things about curses, but... well, if you're here, you're probably looking for something stronger than regular magic can fix, huh?" He says with a smile. "Besides, I've seen way weirder than this, trust me. But hey, if I can help you in any way while I'm here, I'd be happy to do so."

Anastasia

'You have my gratitude,' The man replies, 'But this curse can only be overcome through my own actions, for it was my own vainglory and pride that had me accept a daemonic contract.'

"Ahh, that kind." Moore nods a few times again. "Well, you're here, right? So you're at least taking the right steps. My name is Moore, by the way, I work with Aurora. If you're ever in need of anything, please don't hesitate to reach out, all right? Helping out people in need is always a good thing."

Anastasia

'Thank you,' The man replies, 'Be well on your journeys.' He turns back to his own thoughts, bowing his head.

What kind of curse is that?? Ah well.

He'll fly over the knight reading a book now and do the same -- clear his throat.

Anastasia

Since you wondered, you can make an K:P check.

Faceless evils, the curse of the yugoloths. Many could do this, but only those of true power could make it so hard to overcome. Names you dare not whisper, names of things that make you reflexively murmur the names of the holy, as if to ward away the daemons.

You know not which it is, but you know that this soul needs the aid of the Holy Mountain desperately.

Well, he's in the right place to get that sort of help.

He clears his throat again around the knight. "Ah, hello, I hope you don't mind an interruption in your reading."
