The mystery of Benfal (Moore, Tryll)

[Nephrite]

"No, just him." Moore says with a smile. "I try and not dwell too much on it -- knowing everything is up to Erathaol, It'd be a little overwhelimg for me."

[Anastasia]

"The higher the secrets you find, the harder your life is," Canderella remarks, sitting up and licking her lips. She waves her hand, a bit of magic floating over a glass of water to her hand. She drinks and then goes on. "The old saying that knowledge is power is so true, so I'm hearing you saying that 27 is nearly all powerful."

[Nephrite]

"I don't think it's entirely an untrue statement." Moore says. "What if it turned out that 27 was an avatar of Ao or something? I mean, don't get me wrong, that'd be a terrifying thing to actually be true, but... in theory we don't have anything to prove it -isn't- the case. Ah, I guess I'm just saying I'm open to the possibility."

[Anastasia]

Canderella flicks a bit of water, hitting you on the forehead. "Don't be daft."

[Nephrite]

"Hey!" Moore shouts as he wipes it off. "A little superstition is healthy."

[Anastasia]

"Right.So when you aren't pondering the mysteries of 27, what do you do?" Canderella asks.

[Nephrite]

"I find myself helping out here and there with things around Aurora. I guess I've also found a niche as another ambassador for Aurora, which I enjoy. I think we, as a group, have tried to forge ahead on our own a little too much, so getting buy-in and help from allies leads to us being able to accomplish a lot more."

[Anastasia]

"How noble of you," Canderella says, "Is that where you were this time?"

[Nephrite]

"Hah, right. It's just a pixie meddling in affairs of people like normal. As for where I was... kind of. I went to Brightwater to check on a few things. I had something loaned to me from one of Lliira's agents, so I wanted to see if they wanted it back. Sadly, they did, but so it goes. Oh, did you know there's a casino there called Fiery Odds? Seems like a nice place if you're into that sort of thing." Moore chuckles. "I'm probably going to go check in with Lord Crystalle at Mineral later, too."

[Anastasia]

"You should tell Simmer, she'd approve," Canderella replies. "About the casino, that is."

[Nephrite]

"Haha, she would, wouldn't she? I'll have to pass that on when I see her next time." Moore says. "While you're recovering, is there any meddling you'd like for me to do on your behalf?"

[Anastasia]

"Tell Mirima to keep at it, she'll know what I mean," Canderella says, yawning after. "I can't wait until my energy's returned. I'm tired again already."

[Nephrite]

"Do you want to suck my blood?" Moore asks, then he starts laughing. "Sorry, that sort of joke probably stops being funny after the third or fourth time some poor mortal confuses you for something else. I think Mirima's actually out with Jaela on... something. I'll let her know when she gets back. Can I get you anything to eat from the snack bar?"

[Anastasia]

"Don't let the original members of Aurora hear you make that joke," Canderella says, "Yes, something sweet."

[Nephrite]

Moore nods a few times. "Got it. I'll be back." He smiles and heads off to go get her something from the cafeteria.
