Alyssa begins shifting the boxes around to make room! And she surreptitiously decides to dump the cracked open crate of black zircon into her haversack... Just in case. Adventurers are prudent about an opportunity, after all.

As boxes are moved, you begin to notice the space around you subtly shifting, wobbling, twisting.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hold. Things are... twisting. Be very careful."

She starts being significantly more careful as she tries to figure out what this might mean.

Your arcane and planar knowledge suggests that a distortion is in and between the boxes. Moving them is changing it and how and where it manifests. For whatever reason the boxes aren't being moved, but other things may not be so lucky.

[Iron Dragoon]

"What in the hells... The distortion is anchored to the position of the boxes. We move them, it changes. I wonder if we could use this to... Target the other end of the distortion. Maybe get it to take us to the source..."

Any roll/chance of that?
