You slam into the ravens, slashing and biting, claws and mouth. You rip into it, tearing apart hunks of it as it reels, blind and enfeebled momentarily. A squawking cry as beaks peck back at you in vain, hitting air as often as your scales.

The raven whirls on Antenora, rearing back and breathing right on her, a tornado of howling winds engulfing her.

Seira rips a raven apart, claws ripping it in half and a flaming breath cooking both halves in an instant. They fall apart, riders screaming as Seira bisects the raven. She plows into the next, clawing and slashing it, smashing it down, leaving it a mangled heap barely breathing, burning brightly.

Another charge, Antenora slamming into the enemy ranks hard. The raven screams as she plunges in...and through! Through it from chest to back, emerging from its wings covered in blood, but the creature's heart cored out. The raven falls, plummeting into Air as...before Seira, the ravens break. "Retreat! Retreat!" One rider calls, blind ravens flying off in this direction or that, fleeing.

This goes as you expect - with blinded foes fleeing blindly and ramming into a wall of force, it's easy to catch up, position and then relentlessly rip them apart. Got them!

Meanwhile, Antenora flies to Alicia, "I do not believe the ravens to be evil," she reports, "Only trained by evil souls. After we capture the fortress, perhaps we should track down the survivors and put them to better uses."

Amaryl meanwhile lets the rest go, floating back towards Alicia and Antenora.

Having whittled down their forces further, Seira rejoins the others while the deva she's giving a ride to heals her wound.

[Ebiris]

"They're just animals," Alicia agrees. "Let them flee blindly, we'll sort it out after levelling this place." She raises an arm to greet Amaryl as they resume approaching the fortress proper.

[Anastasia]

The main gates inside are made of dark-tinted metal, closed firmly shut. However, you can see countless murder holes, arrows beginning to poke out of them.

As you take that in? The gates are about 50ft tall and 30ft wide. Opening them won't be a trivial thing.
