Whoops, lost in the dice drama. Good catch.

The tall efreet rings a bell. A minor military official, Davoud Madan, once a rising star in the military, who lost rank over an incident between the efreet and the dao. Apparently he was too aggressive and massacred a dao trading company, leading to a diplomatic incident.

[Nephrite]

"Davoud Madan, you have two options today." Moore says, turning his gaze in that direction. He speaks with a voice stronger than normal. "You either lay down your arms and surrender, or you die."

Going for Intimidate, using 15 Greater Improv points for 75.

Aiming it solely at him and trying default Intimidate or using any epic usages? Matters here.

[Nephrite]

He is indeed just aiming it directly at him. Technically he could do Mass Terror, but it feels cheap to retroactively change it.

[Anastasia]

Okay, no roll here since he can't beat that result.

Davoud glares at you from his position, "And be disgraced a second time?" he calls back.

"The fervor that you fight with can be put to better use against better foes than innocent people who have been forced into slavery." Moore says. "This is your only chance to do something better with your life other than waste it."

To the side, you notice the slight gleam of something metallic being subtly poked out of a barricade, aimed right at the party.

"Well..." Davoud hesitates a moment, taking a shaky breath as he considers.

[Nephrite]

The briefest of glances in that direction, before he clears his throat.

"If your friend decides to try and attack us while we're parleying like this, then I will consider your answer to be that you and everyone in this room wants to die." Moore, as he folds his arms.

"I promise you, it'll miss anyway." He adds.

[Anastasia]

"Yeah," Kaja says, hefting a scimitar. "Efreet bleed good if nothing else. Let me show you."

Davoud scowls darkly at this - but it is paused as there's a loud THUMP that shakes the house like a leaf.
