You appear within light.

The floor is solid stone, polished and smooth. It gleams white, with red highlights on occasion - little constellations of red gemstones. The walls are the same, as is the ceiling. The entire room glitters, for lack of a better word, red gemstones catching the light that seems to come from everywhere. You stand in the center of a burning circle, flames licking all around you without actually touching you.

A soft, feminine voice says in Ignan, "Welcome, traveler, and rest your cold heels in the warmth of efreeti culture."

This message is disrupted by one thing - a squad of guards, or perhaps similar sorts. An efreet leads a squad of five large earth elementals and four small, fiery dwarf-like creatures. "Identify yourself!" The efreet barks, scimitar already out.

The efreet is wearing a breastplate and a red cape, scimitar dancing with flames.

The elementals are nothing but masses of stone, looming large.

The dwarf-like creatures wear loincloths and have hatchets at the ready, hefted.

Huh, it has a much larger range than he anticipated.

Moore turns his attention to the efreeti and merely smiles.

"My name is Moore, Duke of Songs of Celestia. You may have heard of my recent exploits in Salty Pier." A small incline of his head to those guards assembled. "We'll be taking the weapons and armor you have stored here and freeing any slaves that happen to be here as well. If you choose to work with us, I will see to it personally that you'll not be harmed."

His smile fades after that. "If you choose otherwise, then you'll end up like those giants who were turned into so much worthless refuse afterwards."

The smile returns after that. "Please, do decide quickly."

While he's talking, is he also able to spellcraft the teleportation beacon now that they're in it to see if there's a way to temporary turn it off or redirect it somewhere else? I'm guessing it'll require more active concentration on it, but figured I'd give it a shot.

But the efreet smiles, untouched by your fear.

Kaja smiles back at this, "Oh good. You have just the right, smug look on your face that screams slashing victim to me."

The efreet growls, "You will not find us easy marks, you will be defeated and dragged before the Grand Sultan in chains!"

No rolls, they're either immune or can't pass it, respectively.

"You have confidence, I'll give you that." Moore says with a shake of his head.

Switching aura to dexterity.

"Unfortunately, overconfidence usually leads to death. In this case, it will be yours. GO!" Moore points at the efreeti. "Leave any who don't fight back alone!"
