"Not sleeping walking." A yawn follows, "Wandering. Seeing what strange things I see here, it seems to help."

[Corwin]

"The dreamless sleep bed Amaryl arranged for didn't help, then?" Seira asks sympathetically.

[Anastasia]

"It looks like it does but it doesn't. Sylian did something that breaks the rules," Oberuth shakes his head. In this moment he looks weary, "But here? I can confront some of the phantasms. That helps, fighting them, seeing them."

[Corwin]

Then maybe the answer can be found outside Creation, Seira muses.

"How about Ajan?" she asks rather than pursue that thought at present. "Have you met with him? Does he know anything about Io?"

You hear something - the sound of scales, wetness, dripping. All coming from below you. You see it a moment later - a thing, a horrid thing of teeth and scaled and water, twisting in on itself impossibly, looping around and around. A spiral, seeming to connect front to end, yet diving into smaller paths, into recursions of itself. It forms from nothing, appearing below and coming up towards the three of you.

"Want to deal with it?" Seira asks Oraga to give him a chance for some excitement. Meanwhile, she waits for Oberuth's answer, since she took it upon herself to find out all she can about Io during their division of labor with Alicia and she's already behind!

Making it up, but I was thinking both of Limbo/Beyond reality reshaping and the antimagic aura, so a combination of both?
