Past this bend is an opening, a cavern. Here a riot of green lies ahead, greenery growing thick and wild. Yet you notice it is different - ghostly, semi transparent. Shadows are between ever blade of grass, every vine, every tree. A garden of shadows, stirring before you.

'Welcome to my garden, divinity,' A soft but mocking voice is heard, superior. A tone of being talked down to, of being humored when you have no right to be. 'I hope you find it pleasing with your limited intellect.'

"I hear two smitings now. Care to make it three?" Syala replies aloud, hefting Blessing of the Twelve. "Hey Alicia, what happened to Malice when he insulted you? How about Agares? Or those annoying nobles from Kesse? I think our host needs a reminder."

Can I perceive a source for the voice or is it telepathy? If it is telepathy I'll use the same alter reality trick to divine the source like I did for the dog trainer earlier.

"Such arrogance fades quickly in the face of reality, I find," she says, raising her sword.
