The door is torn away, sundered apart. Ahead is absolute darkness - yet that is nothing to you. You see past it, see within the room. Ahead is a throne of vermin, a vast swarm of shadowwasps here. On that throne seats a figure hidden by them, crawling with the vermin.

Behind this throne shadows loom, fire and ice playing atop the ceiling, forming green bands together.

The covered figure on the throne claps slowly, as if applauding your efforts to get this far.

Alicia strides forth, flanked by Syala and Latha. "Surrender the Warrior's Spelltome," she commands.

Shadow wasps flee away from you, recoiling in great bands, swarms of them forming around and to the sides of the throne.

The voice from within the swarm merely asks, 'If I do?'

"Then I leave here with it immediately. Otherwise I'm very happy to prolong my stay," Alicia responds, narrowing her eyes.

[Anastasia]

"I'd listen," Syala opines, Blessing of the Twelve hefted, resting on her shoulder. "So much living to do! So much violent, destructive, explosive living!"

Latha merely stays where she is, shadow wasps retreating from her light.
