Family Reunion

[Anastasia]

The Council is, rather predictably, quietly arguing in recess, spread here and there and bickering over your proposal. At least that's the impression you get with a cursory check.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa takes her seat and waits, sure someone will begin soon.

[Anastasia]

As you sit Delaize comes up, "It may be some time,"  he warns, as you see quiet,. private discussions all over, little knots of twos and threes spread about.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods.

"I've brought the druid and offered her a place. My next task is to meet with Queen Morwel."

[Anastasia]

A nod to that. "Is there anything I can do, Alyssa?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa shakes her head. "You do enough. I don't want you to compromise your position."

[Anastasia]

"Then do you want them called to order or give them more time to argue and settle things between themselves?" Delaize asks softly.

[Iron Dragoon]

"No. But I will make an announcement about leaving."

[Anastasia]

A slight nod to that and...

Go ahead, then.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa stands and holds up a hand, waiting for their attention.

[Anastasia]

With a few more tries and some calls, you get their attention.

[Iron Dragoon]

"I'm sure there's much more discussion to be had, but in light of the seriousness of this issue, I wanted to let you all know I'm going to be gone on an errand. I'll be going to meet Queen Morwel, hoping to get a deal to expand our library."

[Anastasia]

Murmurs at that, rapid ones.

"The Queen of the eladrin?" Madala speaks up, "That Queen Morwel?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Fucking nightmare day at work.

"Yes, that one. I'm hoping to arrange a trade of knowledge. I'd like to get into their library."

[Anastasia]

"How?" She challenges right back, "That's not lightly done!"
