Family Reunion

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa, being quite blase about it, replies, "Emily's been there before and is, at least, on friendly terms with them."

[Anastasia]

That draws relative silence at least, until one speaks up. A tall man, pierced and old. The soft jangle of metal is heard as Regent Delan adds, "Of course, Emily." His voice is slightly sardonic, "Soon to be Princess Emily, I presume?"

Madala snorts at that, "Jarem's sarcasm shouldn't be taken as truth there. Be serious, Delan."

[Iron Dragoon]

"She's the daughter of two deities. I think she's significantly above being a princess. Rather, she already is one, I suppose. Kingdom of the Gods? Deific Princess?"

[Anastasia]

"The point is that she has no reason to grasp for power here," Madala adds to that, "Please, at least have your complaints be intelligent, would you?" Looking away, "Do try harder."

Ule quietly speaks up here and adds, "Agreed. Greed is always a concern, though. Otherwise, less fallen paladins."

[Iron Dragoon]

"You're welcome to address your concerns to Emily at any time."

[Anastasia]

As Delan glares death at Madala, Delaize clears his throat, "I think that's enough. Have we not had enough strife for the day? I move we adjourn for the day and come back tomorrow, refreshed and thoughtful."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods.

"That's fine with me. I was expecting at least a few questions or complaints, though."

[Anastasia]

"I have questions," Delan says, voice calming. "What do we do if other nations object for whatever reason?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Do what we can. We make alliances, we move fast, and use our magic to pre-empt everything we can. If you're looking for a solid catch-all answer, I don't have one. No one does."

[Anastasia]

A pause - a knocking on the door. A page comes in moments later, "A t-thousand apologies, Regents," A young teenager says, scrawny and gawky, her voice awkward, "But Miss Emily needs your presence immediately. She insists."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods.

"Delan, would you like to join me and address your concerns with her?"

[Anastasia]

"Ah. That won't be needed," Delan says quickly, "But thank you."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Well, I can mention it to her so she can set aside some time for you."

Alyssa grins.

[Anastasia]

More laughter as Delan reddens but (perhaps wisely) keeps his mouth firmly shut.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Alright, all poking fun aside, I'm actually fairly serious. If Emily, or anyone or anything, is a true concern, I want to address it. Not doing so will just cause it to fester."
