"Why do you call it soulriders?"
"Because we grind your souls, hopes, and dreams down ... and ride the wave."

Antenora follows, adding once you step out, "Io is a dragon of his word, as Madigar said. Be it heaven or hell."

Jetina smiles at that, "Better than being a liar. More, I think he gives you what you want, even if knows you'll regret it. That's one way to grow."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"There's a lot of legends of wishes being granted like that, aren't there?" Moore muses. "It's a commentary on that sort of ideology, I think."

Ebiris

"Even so, things are done with purpose. After we've completed all the travails of this dungeon, what purpose will it hold, what reason for its inhabitants to remain bound? I'm certain their circumstances can be renegotiated," Alicia says confidently.

Corwin

"I think it's better for everyone to not resort to tiny letters on the contract, myself," Seira muses, heading for the entrance. "If you know something is bad for whoever's asking for it, actually talking it out is a good first step over, say, imprisoning someone for eons with what they thought they wanted to make them grow. Oh! And I want to open that first door we came across, is everyone alright with that?"

"I had wishes before that would have been unspeakable misery had I been granted them," Antenora concurs, "A rough teacher, but a teacher. No harsher a teacher than life, which may well not give you a chance to learn from your folly."

Here Amaryl sighs slightly, "It's still wrong. Are we not shepherds who tend to souls? Yet Io left all of them behind for unspeakable ages, only to pursue his own advancement beyond Creation. Is he any better than Eblis, who has divine power but broods and burns in Fire?"

Moore nods. "I agree. We should do what we can for the people here."

Anastasia

"I'm fine with going to that door," Oberuth says, "And Antenora's right. It's no harder than the lessons of life. The difficulty of life is that you can fail abruptly by dying."

The trip back to the door near the beginning is unremarkable. It awaits to be opened, nothing having obviously changed.

Thus, Seira opens the door!

Ahead is a sandy room, wide and vast. It's warm here, a vast blue wyrm sunning on the sands, surrounded by heaps of gem studden wooden treasures and furniture. It slowly looks your way, electricity crackling all along it. Its edges are hazy, turning to black, stormy clouds. "You've arrived at last."
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.

Ebiris

"Well met, I am Alicia," Alicia introduces herself again, being polite.

Corwin

"Seira. A pleasure to be here," Seira greets the dragon, indeed happy at the warmer climate.

"The Saint, the Dragon and the Elf." The dragon repeats off, then frowns, eyeing Antenora. "And a fourth. And pixie drenched in light and healer the same and...what ARE YOU?" His gaze settles on Oberuth, stormy and foul.

"Someone's nosy," Oberuth says, plainly. "Hellman Oberuth, human."

"And you are?" Antenora challenges right back.

"Lightning," The dragon announces, "Wyrm of storms."

"If the pattern holds, we're going to fight and then promise to free you from this duty," Seira muses. "Then again, you did break the pattern with that unconventional name."
