Marie finds it is Oberuth personally leaning the effort, along with Eudard and several lesser members.

Oberuth's expression is stormily anticipatory, "We go in and shatter them hard," he says, "Mages, you focus on countering and stopping magic as we need it. The rest of us are the mailed fist that breaks them all. Quarter is given if an opponent surrenders or begs for mercy. If they do, use the knockout poison you've been given to knock them out. The disposition of any surrenders will be settled after the battle."

Oberuth stands at the head of the table, leaning forward on it. At this Eudard rises and adds, "By Helm's vigilance we will triumph today," he says, as all of you are safely ensconced deep in the Crimson Guard's garrison. "Leave any greater fiends to me, as well as any greater undead. We don't know exactly what to expect, it's possible this will be gross over kill for a Sharran nest. However, we have hopes of catching a provocateur named Dragodan. If you encounter him, retreat as needed, he's likely too much for any of you."

Marie was expecting the B team, so with Oberuth on hand that means firstly that the rank and file Sharrans are going to get obliterated but it also means there's an increased chance of heavy reinforcements coming to try and take him down, which she'll need to be alert for.

Appearing in her natural form and wearing a short-skirted plum-hued dress that goes with her shimmering purple hair, Marie stands off to the side of the meeting, not quite part of the Crimson Guard - even if she definitely counted as a member back when Alicia was active here! "I won't be taking part in the initial fighting but if Dragodan appears or something else on the level of a proxy or avatar, I'll reveal myself. The defenders I saw when scouting the place out initially didn't look a match for the Crimson Guard otherwise," she speaks up so they know what to expect from her. "I can cast spells to aid you all before going in though - my mage armour is proof against any kinds of shadows!"

Is this the same day she scouted it or later on?

Later on. A day to get set up and recovered if nothing else.
