I will of course have a cute girl waiting to lead Celestia and Sylica's groups! And they will be seated at the sides of my group, with the Sultan opposite me and so on. Seems easiest. There will be the exact amount of seats needed regardless of how many people show up.

Fantastic, let's get this on the road pending Moore.

Moore will show up with Xandra, Cresiel, the lawyer, and Barachiel if he wanted to go.

Thus the groups arrive and settle in, awaiting. The room is indeed broad as the doors open. Akil bin Faheem enters, dressed splendidly in golden clothes, virtually dripping jewelry and walking with a triumphant strut. His sense of being is far expanded, a sense of him palpable to all in the room. His face is locked in a smile, wide and triumphant. With him are two pit fiends, clad head to toe in armor, only their burning red eyes visible. At the Grand Sultan's side is Razalim, Akil's hand hovering just above the hilt, occasionally going down to caress it.

"Seira," Akil's voice is nothing but pleasant warmth, "It seems we've both risen in the world."

Barachiel is silent at this, hands steepled as he watches the entry. Donyas has a polite and entirely pleasant expression on his face, but little more.

Cresiel keeps his expression netural, while Xandra focuses on him silently, leaning forward.

Antenora's expression is controlled now, Syala even smiling a little bit - but not one of her nice smiles.

Honeydip doesn't hide her disdain, while Valar is more appraising, unexpressive.

Alicia looks quite placid, but if one could see through her nondetection spell they'd see she's fully empowered with all the magic she can muster. You never know when someone might break a truce and for someone drunk on the power of becoming Grand Sultan they might think this a good chance at a coup de main against all their primary opposition clustered together, and even a chance at inflicting final death on Seira.

'Risen' is such an incorrect word to use, given that Akil now exists under the boot of the Serpent Throne, Moore thinks to himself. He simply waits with a neutral expression himself.

"I did expect to see you in that position," Seira amiably agrees, gesturing across the golden flame at the cushion opposite her own. "Please have a seat."

Akil sits, his fiends sitting on at either side of him.

"Our lamented friend rather bumbled this war, didn't he?" Akil agrees, "Though who could have predicted the loss of Eblis?" He considers this, fingers drumming on the hilt of Razalim. "A defeat in the Battle of Father and Son could be anticipated, planned for and was. But the day is yours for removing Eblis from the board at a critical time."

"Since we seem to be in so much agreement, the full twenty four hours are likely unnecessary," Seira says brightly. "I believe your representative adequately presented you with my terms for the immediate cessation of hostilities?"

Alicia smiles ever so faintly, content to let them think it was all part of a grand plan to win the war. "There is far more to do than simply moving soldiers around," she says. "And just as he has come to see the wisdom he once blinded himself to, I hope the rest of Fire will follow suit."

Anastasia

"Yes, but I'd like to see a formal copy of it," Akil requests, "Do you have one prepared?"

Seira hands a bound scroll to Vayley, who has always been standing there behind her like a proper, dutiful maid. It should be the work of a moment to have it delivered, and in the meantime Seira goes over the big things in her mind in a last moment check to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything.

Complete freedom for all slaves in the Efreet Empire, with a definition of slave that covers indentured workers and other common workarounds they'd all had a chance to witness across Creation. Specifically, of all the slaves currently held and all those that were slaves in efreet hands at the time negotiations started with the previous Sultan four days ago, to prevent hijinks like selling most of them to Hell in the interim.

Abolition of slavery in the Efreet Empire, by all efreet who are a part of it and any and all visitors to it. Any slave as defined painstakingly previously setting foot in efreet lands is immediately freed. Any efreet not part of the Empire are not covered by the Empire, be it legally or for protection. The process of joining or leaving said Empire in legal terms would take a full week, and only be finalized on completion.

Failure to abide by this agreement would see the efreet or any other constituent of the Efreet Empire stripped of all protections by the Empire immediately. Such accusations may be challenged within Mechanus's legal framework, to prevent abuse.

In exchange, the Cauldron and its allies will sign a peace treaty lasting a century with the efreet and any of their allies that wish to join this framework (and follow its specified rules for abolition of slavery in the process, if so). The treaty would be up for renewal every century afterwards.

"This is acceptable," Akil says, "With a few ...small modifications. There were a few deals delayed by the war, but already legally binding, regarding a few handful of slaves. An exemption is desired, or at least compensation in those cases. By abolition of slavery, the definition needs to be adjusted to exclude visitors passing through, but make provision for longer term residents instead. We do, however, reject any imposition of Mechanus onto our affairs, but are open to some sort of joint tribunal to resolve these matters in an agreeable way."

Seira looks over at Akil's companions, musing, "In my experience, Mechanus had always been fair and held the greatest respect for law and order. I am quite honestly surprised to hear criticism of it from such quarters."

She taps her finger on her knee, before voicing, "I would need to view the records of those deals prior to commenting there, although it's fine if the names are edited out."

"It's not a matter of trust for Mechanus," Akil says with a smooth smile, "But of the independence of the Efreet Empire."

The pit fiends don't show the slightest reaction to anything, unnaturally skill. Magical or special training - they're not even moving slightly, perfectly statue like. It's not normal.

"That's entirely acceptable," Akil says.
