"Moore, can you show me again? I'm... Right on the edge of it, I think... A little off. Let me hear it."

[Nephrite]

"Of course." Moore says.

This time, he tries again, focusing on saying them clearly and slowly for Alyssa's benefit, but he focuses on creating a shield that has the same properties as the last one, but doesn't focus on the color at all.

It is done, another shield and another flare of pain through Moore as the blue shield is again made.

He winces again. "I didn't think about the color that time and it still came out the same way." He says.

It is at this time that I realize Moore only has Heal and Cure Light Wounds as healing spells. Oh well. He'll Heal himself again.

[Anastasia]

It's not that unusual, most don't need every level of healing magic.

Xandra merely nods, "It may be intrinsic or due to the way we learned it," she suggests, "Does that help, Alyssa?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa mumbles the process to herself to cement it in her mind before trying again, "Create: Perfect Anvil."

Assuming the incoming Cha check, and since Moore's rolling a Con check with it, I'll do that too:

20 damage, could've been much worse without Moore boosting the total.

"Hm... would you try again? Here, let me try something." Moore says as he casts a quick spell!

Surge of Hope for Alyssa (and I guess him too), +4 on any further skill or ability checks for the next 30 minutes.

Alyssa shakes her head and tries to refocus with a stubborn look.

"Annoying. Thank you Moore. I will get this."

Alyssa takes a deep breath, runs through some quick meditation exercises to clear her mind and focus, "Create: Perfect Anvil!"

Alyssa coughs a bit.

"That does take a bit out of you. Still, I managed it. Is it permanent?"

[Nephrite]

"I have, admittedly, not tested that theory much. I'm not even sure if one can say what they're really made of, you know?" Moore says with a smile as he gestures again to heal her.

Blah blah, Heal.

"I doubt the shields are strong enough to hold up against extreme conditions... well, except very specific extreme conditions." He says.
