"You downed it fast," Jessica steps out from behind a tree, "Faster than I could intervene."

Jarem whistles low, "I forgot your Moms taught you all of that," he admits, "Do that more often."

Emily merely smiles momentarily before, "Be ready to stop if it doesn't work," she warns. "Can all of you be ready."

In answer Bastian cracks his knuckles and says, "Yep."

The creature stirs immediately - and Emily smiles. "Shh," she murmurs, "We have no interest in killing you."

The Night Lord does not attack further, but merely lays there. Emily smiles at it and gently rubs it's fur, as more healing fills it.

The creature tenses.

Jessica rests her hand on it. "He's scared," Jessica says, "The Golden Bear, not the lodge. We're interested in the bear, and if it's a problem, I will deal with it." As he is healed, Jessica strokes his fur slowly. Wounds healed, the Night Lord stands and rises.

"He'll help us," Jessica says, "He's given his word."

"You can talk to it?" Bastian arks, arms crossed, "Thought that was what druids did."

"I can talk to anything now," Jessica says simply, as if putting the matter to rest. "He knows the scent of the Golden Bear and will lead us if we find it, but it may take time."

Alyssa nods, "We don't require you to help us, just lead us. Thank you for your help."

[Anastasia]

In your mind you hear Jessica's voice. 'I may have to take him with me - he insisted in case the Golden Bear can get back at it after. Whatever this bear is, the only reason he's helping is because he fears the divine more.'

Alyssa nods, "You only have to get us close. Let's start when you're ready."
