Capturing Sharrans is easy. It's finding them that's the trick.

A shimmer. A lovely young woman is before you, clad in a diaphanous gown of moonlight. Selune meets your gaze as she speaks, "Shar is my enemy. It is highly possible she will attempt this tactic on me. All the better if we are prepared to punish her for it. May I count on your aid in this?"

[Ebiris]

"Of course," Alicia says. "We've worked together against her before, and she's not a foe I can face alone."

[Anastasia]

"Then I will devise a way," Selune declares, "Do you have any insights of your own to add?"

[Ebiris]

"I'm afraid I don't at the moment," Alicia admits. "But can I ask that you share Mystra's spell with the other deities who reside with you, so they too can be protected? For now I must continue spreading word."

[Anastasia]

"I will," Selune agrees to your request, "I will see to it that Shaundakul and Alyssa as well as hers will be informed."

[Ebiris]

"Thank you. Please contact me if I can be of any help with your plans for Shar. For now I'm going to Brightwater."

She can tell Sulia the details and trust her to pass it on to the others there.

[Anastasia]

Most of the rest of this can be skipped along since it's just exposition. So going to tell Sulia and who else, lemme see if any need IC coverage real quick.

After Sulia then Morwel, then Red Knight, then *sigh* Beezlebub.

Avatarlicia also told the Bytopia gang at the same time as Alicia was chatting it up with Zaphkiel, then she'd go tell Lathander/House of Nature.

[Anastasia]

Most of this goes well enough.

However, Queen Morwel holds you. You meet her before a lake, a crystal blue lake that stretches on and on seemingly forever under a bright, sunny sky. Her presence is everywhere here as...

Calamity comes closer. In my dreams I see greater troubles that menace Creation. The Godsrush comes, and yet it heralds blessings and disasters married together.

[Ebiris]

"Not all of the newly risen gods will be forces for righteousness," Alicia says as she stands at the edge of that lake. "More, I fear more new ones will rise, sponsored by Shar."

Zaphkiel never even mentioned the possibility of finding one on the plane of shadow, even if the other transitive planes were counted. And those close to Shar can always try to ascend the conventional way and be afforded Ao's permission.

[Anastasia]

I fear the same. Malice will not be the last that falls to your blade.


There are whispers of others that have reached me. A daemon in Shar's service, a gloom and also a refugee from the Unseelie Court that swore himself to Shar. Perhaps the worst of all, for he is a leShay. It may yet be lies and distortions, but I fear that if not true then it is a prophecy of what is to come.

[Ebiris]

"A leShay, you say?" Alicia asks. "I do wonder if that connects to my recent troubles with the Queen of Air and Darkness. But only whispers? They'll have to announce themselves if they wish to Compete and grow, but if they're being prepared as merely sacrificial pawns Shar may be stunting their ultimate growth to better suit her short term goals."

[Anastasia]

I have considered and decided to entrust you and Seira with a gift of knowledge. It is not knowledge that many know, and it must stay hidden from most of Creation until the day to reveal it comes forth. I had merely waited until the proper moment to share it with the two of you, but should this be true, it is best that you two both know.

[Ebiris]

"If you say it must be hidden then I'm willing to trust you," Alicia says, her good relationship with Queen Morwel ensuring that. "Do you want to tell us together?"
