[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods, "Likely. Who was the one that introduced you to him?"

[Anastasia]

"Miller. Wicken Miller. He's dead now," Estan shakes his head, "He's feeling a lot more of the heat now and forever than I am right now."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa leans back. "Hmm... Well, a name and a face. It's more than before. The symptoms may prove useful to know, as well. Thank you, you've helped us."

[Anastasia]

"Waukeen help you to profits," he answers, "There is one more thing - he has an enforcer with him. In elf form, but it had the eyes of a reptile. It. A man, but it was no man. It never said a word, but it quietly watched."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Did he ever refer to it by a name?"

[Anastasia]

"No," Is his answer, "Never by name and barely at all."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa leans back, "I assume the gold coins were made to look like local currency? Too much to hope his pride got him to put his own face on them..."

[Anastasia]

"They blended in, and he also provided unmarked bars for trade," Estan answers. "Couldn't have told it apart from any other local coin."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa grunts. "I wonder if the lead is mined from a single source... Wish I could get my hands on one. Anyway, thank you for your help."

[Anastasia]

"Think it's magic," Estan says, "They just transformed, like it was always lead. But it was gold to every test, and even one used magic to test it since it was such a large payment." A deep frown at that, "Never imagined someone could fool those spells so easily."

[Iron Dragoon]

"It's a matter of power. It's a rare mortal that can beat the magic of a God."

[Anastasia]

"I've seen that," Very quitely Estan adds, "Never had the gift for magic, but my father had me take lessons to see if I did. It's a whole other world for them."

A moment when Emily's aura is everywhere, a feeling of her cloaking the room. "Like us." she corrects, voice very gentle.

Estan's eyes wide hugely and he fumbles his drink, which falls - only to stop in midair and return to his hand.

"You're welcome," Emily says, "Continue to repent, for the day when you leave your mortal body behind will come with glories beyond your reckoning. You faced Hell and repented, few fall in such a trap and survive. Stay the course for as long as you have left."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa raises an eyebrow at Emily, but nods along, "Yes, you seem to have the spirit for it, and more importantly, the understanding of the scope of your actions. You're doing well, continue to."

[Anastasia]

With that Emily turns to leave, heading out.

Alyssa offers him a smile before leaving as well.
