"We may never see it again if we let it go now," Sylvie points out, "While all of this isn't going anywhere."

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"Sure." Moore says. "Ideas?" He asks as he starts to go back after it. "We can't just walk it into a trap."

Anastasia

Sylvie gestures and a wall of force springs up to block it.

The golem promptly walks right through it, as if it wasn't there.

"That's an impressive immunity to magic," Xandra remarks as she begins to follow it, as Sylvie gestures again and the wall is gone. "Conjure something not subject to that next."

"Or just move something existing," Sylvie agrees.

Nephrite

"Oh, I can do that." Moore says as he gestures.

Divine will emulation of Major Creation. Let's just create a wall of adamantine in front of it.

Anastasia

I'm not sure you have the cubic feet to do it, but I'm gonna be honest, I assume a partial will work for these purposes so that'll do.

Some adamantine springs up and it goes through the barrier like it isn't there. Sylvie scowls, "No, something permanent. A major conjuration is temporary and not a true - nevermind."

Another wall appears, this one of pure stone. "There," Sylvie says, "Instant and now non magical."

Sure enough, that doesn't top the golem, either. It just walks through it like it isn't there.

Sylvie's gaze sharpens as she follows, walls vanished away in a moment.

"Oh, right, sorry, True Creation is the one I'm looking for isn't it?" He asks. "But I wonder if I should just use the Words?"

Anastasia

"Try it," Sylvie agrees.

"The reaction should be telling, though we'll see," Xandra says as Kaja keeps pace, but barely even brandishes his weapons now.

A breath in, out (that he doesn't need) as he speaks.

A jailer, jailed in his own prison.

Idea is to use Words of Creation to try and put a cage of... uh, I dunno what, but let's go with adamantine again around it.

Anastasia

Give me Charisma in this case, please.

The creature pauses before the wall that briefly appears - before it doesn't bother to challenge it. It steps around, space itself seeming to change to allow the impossible passage.

You know that sort of trickery, you've seen the spell Space Compression before. Same idea.

Nephrite

"...Well, okay, that's... not what I expected." Moore says. "But perhaps I should've expected something like that. But we know at least it can't just -completely- ignore solid objects..."

Anastasia

"Interesting, but not definitive," Sylvie remarks.

"Yes, I've seen others use that trick," Xandra seconds.

"Anything else to try?" Moore asks as he flies after it. "We could always try disabling it, but I don't know that that's the wise way to approach this."

Since the wall is there we do probably need to get rid of it, not sure if we can just fly over it or not. If not, he'll Divine Blast it out of the way.

Anastasia

One blast clears the way.

"Attacking it is a last resort," Sylvie says thoughtfully, "But can you think of anything else that might work?"
