You go on. Another cavern like this after a passage, but a peek shows it's inhabited. A few dozen are here, burning dead animals over open flames. They're inhuman - tall and too thin, ribs showing and wearing only ragged fur loincloths. They seem male or at least masculine. None carries a weapon.

These are Monks of the Long Tooth, an order of chaos monks that serve Malar. They hunt and kill their food, despite being promoted to outsiders that don't need to eat. They exist only to hunt. They aren't normally here. For whatever reason they are, but they usually tend to things on other planes and sometimes clash with the githzerai in Limbo.

Alyssa relays this to the others.

Since they're outsiders, what do I know about their abilities? They likely to see through illusions? Tremorsense?

They're deadly unarmed fighters, have senses and are great hunters. They don't have tremorsense, but they do have blindsight.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa passes the info to the others, "Considering their senses, I think we should use Shrink Person and Xorn Movement. With the smaller size and the fact that I don't believe they have tremorsense, I think we'll make it past without too much trouble.'

[Anastasia]

'Sensible,' Bastian agrees, 'We can get them on the way out, anyway, too.'

'On the way out,' Emily agrees, 'On the way out.'

Alyssa nods to herself and casts a brace of spells.
