[Anastasia]

Mei soon returns, guided by Emily. She bows to Alyssa, "Lady Divinity," she greets in a warm voice.

Do you remember Mei from B3 at all?

[Iron Dragoon]

I don't.

Alyssa smiles and bows in return.

"Welcome! And don't be so formal. Divinity is a new mantle for me. Please, come, sit and be comfortable."

[Anastasia]

Mei sits as requested. "I understand you need my advice?"

[Iron Dragoon]

"Yes, well... We're soon to go against a rather powerful Hellfire Warlock. I'm seeking some understanding of it so I might explore some sort of defense against it."

[Anastasia]

"I'd be happy to tell you what I know," Mei continues, "Do you understand what hellfire is?"

[Iron Dragoon]

I imagine Alyssa has a good grasp from her research. I personally don't though.

[Anastasia]

Hellfire is infernal fire powered by Baator's energies. It ignores fire immunity and resistance. Nasty stuff and the domain of powerful devils and diabolical servants.

[Iron Dragoon]

"I have the basics of it."

[Anastasia]

"Then you know why there's few practitioners of it that are anything beyond the blackest fiends," Mei says, "It's terrible. I've seen goldenfire and it's not the same thing in reverse, but the effect is similar."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa taps her desk.

"What would you think the inverse of it is?"

[Anastasia]

"The holy power of Celestia,' Mei says in thought, "Or maybe Arborea."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Could you describe how the fire is altered? We need to determine how to intertwine the energy together."

[Anastasia]

"You call on energy," Mei says, "You don't really do it yourself. You call it, you summon it. It's not your own power that does it." A pause, a thought, hand on her chin, "You're the conduit for it, not the creator."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hmm... Spellwork won't help with it, then. Emily, any ideas?"

[Anastasia]

"It sounds like you need the approval of beings above." Emily says.
