Re:Tomb Omake: The Tomb of Delphi

Opening the left door, Genma could see a long corridor, with tapestries along the walls depicting a red-haired warrior in epic battle with black dragons, vicious wizards, and many other nasties.  To the right was a closed oak door with a golden handle.  The whole place was elaborately decorated.  At the far end another sliding door could be seen.

Kwokinator turned, traveling deeper into an alley as he tried to find another route...   he never quite saw what killed him as he turned the corner, only a flash of pain, and then sudden death.

Genma intently examined the floor and walls.

[Corwin]

Moving closer to Genma, Shinichi peered into the door the other man had opened.

[Dracos]

Past Genma, Shinichi could see the same hallway Genma had, with one door to the right and one door at the far end.  Elaborate tapestries covered the walls.

[Dracos]

The floor seemed sturdy and smooth, no obvious deformaties in the wood as it traveled across the floor.  The walls were hidden beneath the large tapestries.

[Kwokinator]

With a strength born from desperation, Yokoshima ripped free of the whip binding him, and ran back the way he came from, back towards the clothing store.

[Corwin]

Shinichi looked for any sign of trecherous bonsai beyond the door.

[Dracos]

And so he did rip free of the whip binding him, as the other whip that Darien had been flinging his way wrapped around his neck, yanking him back painfully as his face turned blue for a second from lack of oxygen.

[Dracos]

There was exactly...

Zero treacherous bonsai beyond the door.

[Figment]

"Wait here," Genma muttered in an aside to Shinichi.

Very carefully, Genma placed one foot on the hallway floor and slowly shifted his weight onto it, alert for anything that might be amiss.

[Dracos]

Nothing happened as Genma cautiously tested the floor ahead with his foot.

Moving cautiously, Genma slowly made his way to the door on the right and examined it.

[Dracos]

The door on the right was another sliding door frame, similar to the earlier design.

Shinichi waited by the first sliding door, covering Genma from any nefarious bonsai in hiding.
