Saviours, the game!

Devon found the door too wide and the opening too small to see anything.

Placing his ear to the door, Devon listened intently.

Listening intently, Devon could make out hte occasional footstep.

[Figment]

Slipping on the ring O'karn had given him, Devon slowly turned the knob on the door, listening for any change in the sounds coming from the other side.

Devon turned the knob the entire way, without hearing anything other than the knob.

[Figment]

Swiftly, Devon opened the door and slipped through, leaving the door open just a crack as he looked around.

Devon found himself in a short hallway, that led to a 't' intesection about five feet away.  There were two men standing in the intersection, dressed as soldiers.  Swords were at their sides and they were chatting softly, speaking about a date one of them had later that night.

They were roughly 5'8, skinny with silver hair.

Turning the knob once more, Devon eased the door closed before slowly returning the knob to it's original position.

The soldiers continue their fascinating conversation.

[Figment]

Moving with the utmost care, Devon slipped past the guards and down the hallway to the right, stopping about five feet in to peer down the hallway in each direction.

Devon also slipped past a small table and chairs set in the hallway around the corner.

Looking behind him, past the soldiers, Devon noted the hall seemed to end at another hall, moving perpendictular to the one he was currently in.

The direction he came from did the same.

Moving to the perpendicular hallway closest to him, Devon looked both ways.

Devon saw about twenty five feet of empty hallway in each direction.

[Figment]

Devon made his way down the hallway to the right.

[kpjam]

As Devon moved along the hallway, the sound of running water became apparent, more so when he reached the end of it.  

Their was a connecting hallway on his left.  He could see that it traveled about 25 feet before the outline of a doorway could be seen.  

About ten feet down, two soldiers were standing in the hallway, swords at their hips, in front of two doors that faced each other.

The were both moderatly alert, one was facing away, whle the other was facing out the door to the right.
