Misha winces at that. "Yes'su, the librarians are evil and must be destroyed'su," she agrees. "But they have seniority'su. In more ways than one'su."

Then, she shrugs, and smiles once more. "Why would a Priestess of Serenity need more topics'su? This is the sacred library for clergy, after all'su."

Rei's opinion of the Church of Serenity promptly takes a nosedive down the toilet.

These wackos were deserving of nowhere near the respect she gave to the Temple of the Sacred Flame back on Mars. That sparked off another train of thought, and she lost herself in a pleasant fantasy involving head priestess Shayla Shayla.

Needless to say, she doesn't respond to Misha, only standing there with flushed cheeks and a lecherous grin as the fantasy plays out.

Makoto had fallen silent, as Rei seemed to know what she was doing when questioning Misha. Now, however.... "I think that shock must be catching up to her," Makoto says sadly. "Um, Misha-san, can you show us to the books on Metallia? We're not sure on where to find them... and we need to know everything we can about her."

"No problem'su!" Misha says, smiling at Makoto. The pink-haired priestess then leads the way to a section called Serenity's Enemies, the journey taking fourty minutes. Rei fairly soon snaps out of her daze, and walks slightly behind Makoto, admiring the view.

"Serenity's Enemies" turns out to be a fairly small section consisting of a single bookshelf. Rei and Makoto aren't sure they would have found it on their own, as they take in the massive "Serenity's Clergy" and "Serenity's Friends" sections flanking it.

"Well, I was right when I said we should look at 'S' next..." Rei shrugs, thinking that she probably wouldn't have noticed this tiny section unless it was pointed out.

Just out of interest, Rei looks to see if any of the books on the shelf refer to someone/something other than Metallia.

Makoto eyes the clergy and friends sections, wondering if any books are indexed twice. "Say, Misha-san, if I look for you will I find a book with your name on the cover?" she teases, idly scanning the Serenity's Clergy section.

Misha laughs nervously, rubbing the back of her head. "You never know'su!"

Most of the books have faded covers, but Rei manages to see three titles. "Usagi, That Lying Bitch", "Alien Fleet From Beyond" and "Eric the Destroyer."

There is also, of course, a large blood-red tome labeled simply "Metallia".

Rei moves to grab the book titled 'Metallia', then pauses at 'Usagi, That Lying Bitch'. "That's a rather opinionated title..." she muses, wondering at what 'Usagi' must have done to earn such scorn.

Idly curious, she pulls that book out and takes a quick glance through it's pages to see if anything interesting pops up.

As Makoto stares oddly at the laughing Misha, Rei takes the book titled "Usagi, That Lying Bitch" and leafs through it. From what she can gather from the introductory chapter, the book is about a pink-haired girl whose hairstyle resembled carrots, of all things. She appeared one day some four centuries prior out of thin air, dropping on Serenity's back during a massage given to the Queen by her husband, Sven, and claiming that Serenity's daughter was not only married to an Earthling but was an Earthling herself.

Reading further, intrigued, Rei learns that the girl, 'Usagi', was summarily executed, and the fleet she apparently brought with her underestimated the Lunar defenses, and got decimated. A sidenote mentions the Millennium Frog crashing into the enemy's flagship and winning the battle for the Moon without any friendly casualties. Rei can't help but think that this was quite pathetic for an enemy menace.

Makoto can't help but be intrigued. "Eric the Destroyer?" she muses, pulling that book out to flip through it. After all, they'll probably check out the Metallia book, but they might not get that many chances to scan through them.

Rei blinks. It was a fairly interesting story actually, and it gave her a curious sense of pride that she had flown on the Millenium Frog. Not too many spaceships around today had seen actual combat, after all.

Deciding to come back and examine the Usagi book in greater detail some other time, Rei puts it back and pulls out the Metallia book. "Are we allowed to check books out of this library, or is there a reading room we can use?" she asks Misha.

Corwin

"Any priestess, even a visiting one, can check out books'su," Misha replies, turning to look at Rei. "Of course, there are special rooms for reading inside the library itself'su, too'su." She grimaces. "But whichever you choose'su, you still need to get near the librarians'su." Throwing her hands in the air, the priestess sighs. "If you read here, they have more chances to try and attack you'su. But if you actually ask them to do their job'su, they'll want something in return'su."

Makoto considers the tazer briefly. "What would they ask for exactly? Not what they asked for last time, is it?"

"Well, we're not actually priestesses," Rei admits, "But we are the legendary Sailor Senshi, and the Moon Kingdom's only hope for defeating Metallia," she indicates the red book in her hands. "I'm sure the Queen wouldn't mind if we just took the book without dealing with those perverts."

Pausing for a moment in thought, she then adds, "Also, I'd like to see if there are any books on the Sailor Senshi. Would the be under 'Serenity's Friends' or have their own section? I'd like to find out more about what we're becoming, and maybe even learn about what the last Sailor Mars was like."
