Salvius nods, and exits. Turning to Cedric, he speaks; "With a bit of work and a bit of luck, we should be having a celebratory dinner tonight. I, for one, can't wait to get started."

[Corwin]

"Indeed," Cedric agrees. "But that still leaves the question of what we do before this fight... or between fights, in the future." He sighs. "It's been so long since I had so much free time, and I find myself at a loss about what to do with it."

[Carthrat]

"Hah! If it's any comfort, many feel that way after being released," replies Salvius. "At least, from what I've heard. Perhaps you'll find your way in the arena.

If nothing else, at least you'll have some funds once you're done.

As for now.. well, with any luck, we won't need to wait long," he finishes, shrugging.

[Corwin]

"Perhaps I should try and seek employment?" Cedric muses. "Something to do between the battles, which would occupy my free time and bring back revenue." He glances at Salvius. "I'll be sure to inform you in case a missive arrives at the inn where we're staying. Is there anyone at the Temple of Mars that we could leave a message with, to pass on to you in the case of your absence?"

[Carthrat]

Salvius shrugs. "Nobody I can think of in particular. You could write a message and leave it in my room, if need be. However, I believe I will stay with you for the time being.

As for employment.. well, you said something about a herbalist business, correct? I know a few things about herbs as well, perhaps a joint venture may be a feasible option."

[Corwin]

"That sounds interesting," Cedric says, intrigued. "How about we visit a nearby tavern for some drinks, and ask around about a few vacancies and opportunities in the field?"

[Carthrat]

"Sounds like a plan," replies Salvius, nodding. "I can tell you that the Temple of Apollo has a hand in herbalism, so we could try there first."

[Corwin]

Bidding the others fairwell, like to Mr. Romansk, Cedric leads Salvius to the tavern he visited after being freed.

Salvius follows Cedric to the tavern, chatting aimlessly about nothing in particular, because he's a talkative guy.

Bran frowns for a moment, then shrugs and goes back to the inn.  He didn't have anything to do, so he might as well sharpen his sword, inspect his armor, and do all the other chores of a warrior's life.

Arriving at the Red Liquor, they found the door open, the bar running it's moderately busy afternoon business.

"Greetings," Cedric says, arriving at the counter with Salvius. "A drink for me and my friend, if you will."

[Dracos]

"Certainly, sir.  Anything in particular you want to drink?"

[Trunkyboy]

Luciano heads over to Hans.  "Sir, I am in need of a weapon.  It comes to my mind that in some situations, a long ranged weapon would come in handy.  Although not as proficient in them as I would like, could you show me what you have in bows?"

Cedric orders the same drink he ordered last time he was there, having found it decent, getting the same for Salvius.
